Hello everybody!!
I have uploaded about 100 nes roms, 10 snes, 1 n64 and about 15 genesis...
I was about to load a random game on nes and I got a C8 error and I restarted the console.
Then I went to the same game and everything worked ok. What is this C8 error? has anybody encountered it?
Also when I turned the console back on I saw a C2 error (and I was asked to setup the initial settings again (language, etc).
Now it's working fine (retroarch is working well as well as all the NES games). What happened?

Can someone explain please what these errors are? I have encountered C8, C2 and i have seen somewhere else in the forum a C7 error....

Enable Carpets in hakchi2.
In hakchi2 menu->Settings->Pages/folders structure-> I recommends you Custom.

Whenever I try to use "use_nestopia.hmod" or "--core nestopia," all games under Retroarch crash, sending me back to the menu, no matter what. In other words, Fceumm works fine, except for FDS games, but Nestopia always crashes.

I have the same issues with Nestopia, I'm using pcm720 0.3 module and I have the bios in the system folder, but whenever I try to launch a rom (fds or nes) with the Retroarch using the Nestopia core, the screen freezes.

I already tried uninstalling and installing again the entire hack, but I can't solve this.

PM me the games (not actual ROMs, of course, just the titles) you're trying to run with Nestopia

I'd be interested in knowing the outcome of this. I've got 2 fds games (Aliens: Alien2 [Japan] and Transformers: The Headmasters [Japan]) that run fine on the default hakchi2 emulator but just won't run under Retroarch. I'm using a global command to force Retroarch as the default emulator as I find performance is better across 730 games, but these 2 games just won't run under it. All I get is a black screen and it brings me back to the NES Classic gui.

This may sound silly but when I create more than one folder with a similar name, for example one folder snes...second folder snes 2, the second folder and all the games never show up. Do I need to be more creative in my folder naming conventions?! Lol

Thanks you for the reply! I will try it when I get back home. So what does "carpets" do exactly? What does it have to do with the C8 and C2 errors? I have a custom folder structure (last option)

What is the full name (with extension) of a ROM file (you can find it in the games/<game ID> folder)?

If I install both snes9x2010 and CATSFC as SNES cores, which one will the Retroarch.hmod default to? I'd like snes9x2010 as default with CATSFC being assigned to specific games in their command line (e.g. Yoshi's Island)

I've added instructions to README.md which is repo's title page (please, read them before downloading anything. Seriously.), updated the repo with extra cores (thank @nesito for that, ask him about these cores if you need help).
FDS loading with Nestopia was broken on previous builds (due to core searching for FDS BIOS in the wrong directory).
Added a module to use Nestopia instead of FCEUmm (use_nestopia.hmod). Install that if you really hate FCEUmm.

Cluster's repo contains the exact same bulild (for now, at least).
The only difference is that you won't find extra cores there.
I'm thinking about giving this a go.

I'm currently using the version that has a tick box which makes NES games use RetroArch, from what I understand this isn't going to effect that?

Sorry, I can't send PMs yet.

The games I try to use are Nazo no Murasamejou and Esper Dream
If I use use_nestopia.hmod, I can't start any of my games not supported by the default emulator (like Arkanoid II, Crisis Force or Batman Return of the Joker), all of these run good with FCEUmm.

I tried loading the games using the Retroarch App and with FCEUmm they start without problems, but not with Nestopia and that happens for all the games (for example, I tried Yoshi, it runs good with the default emulator and with FCEUmm but it does't start with Nestopia.

I tried with games of other consoles like Killer Instinct from SNES and I didn't have any problem, the only thing that doesn't work is Nestopia (it didn't work with the first hmod of ClusterM either).

Not sure what went wrong here. List all the cores you have in RetroArch GUI.

Just installed the latest release and it seems to be working fine again. Just that one wasn't for some reason. I didn't install the Clover App when I had that problem. That shouldn't have made a difference though I wouldn't think.
