Hello,

I am using Hakchi 2 and am having issues trying to get retroarch to work.
I added a Megadrive game and can see it on the menu of the mini nes but the game will not load.
I am confused where i need to put the mod files between a mod folder itself or in user mods.
Hoping someone can please help me to get this working.

Now getting a c7 error.

Thanks

You'll not get an error but a flashback if you forget installing the core.
So C7 error may be a problem from
- Game compatibility
- Too many games displaying on a folder/page which makes the memory not enough

Basically you need to make sure you put 'retroarch.hmod' and everything in the 'cores' folder into the 'user_mods' (not 'mods') folder. Then, in hakchi2, goto Modules --> Install extra modules. You need to then select 'retroarch' and the respective cores for any games you want to play. Press the big OK button and it will ask you to sync stuff with your NES Mini. After that's done you need to install the actual app itself. Go 'Add more games', then navigate to the (extracted) RetroArch release folder and double-click on 'CloverApp.zip'. Sync that with your NES Mini and you should be good to go.
