tnx! but my gc games are in my HDD not in my SD... so is 1GB sd card enough? BTW, i dont know what a "disc dump" mean, am just assuming saving your gc games in your sd card.
you can use usb or sd for nintendont as long as the usb device is fat32 formated, by disc dump i mean iso, nintendont reads isos wich are dumps from gc discs, or you can even use a real gc disc if you are on the wii with BC support.

I was just wondering why all my gc isos, when i renamed them to game.iso, their disc size changed and became all simillar (as in to the last byte number)......i changed them one at a time.... i hope they don't turn out to be all the same game.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

oh wait a minute... this is the Wii U page..........i have only have the Wii..... will my ps3 controller and nintendont still work?

I dont want to backread all 1796 pages, so am just gonna ask here... i read in the first page that nintendont support USB-HID controller...does this mean i can use my ps3 controller controller on my wii using a usb-cable? can i rely on links provided to give the latest version? I donwloaded mine at wiibrew.... and according to this thread i have to download a new boot.dol once i installed nintendont? and lastly, how come the nintendont i downloaded comes with 2 folder, 1 apps and 1 controllers... should i place them on the root of my sd card?

additional question: is 1GB SD enough?

This is all in the OP. At least read it. :/

All 1:1 GameCube ISOs should be EXACTLY the same size byte wise. If they are not then they are not 1:1 ISOs. A GameCube ISO should be 1,459,978,240 bytes or it's not 1:1.

OK, So I JUST made an account just to address an issue...

EVERY. TIME. I try to load a Gamecube game with the memory card emulation on, Nintendont just restarts my whole system, but when it's not on, games run perfectly fine...
I don't know about anyone else, but I certainly don't have the energy to just leave my console on all the time if I want to finish a game (in this case, Viewtiful Joe)

I'v tried it with every other game in my library, as they all worked on a previous version (Last one I remember is v3.334) and memory card emulation worked just fine as well. I'm using my Wii U because I don't have a Wii, letalone a gamecube memory card...

I tried going back to that version, but it seems like it's just literally wiped off the face of the internet now. I just wanna save my games...

Nintendont is telling me that it can't find the /games folder, even though there is one in the root of the SD card. Help?
make sure games have the correct name path isos need to be named game.iso

so something like SD/usb:games/anynameyouwant/game.iso

are your isos on sd or usb? make sure there is space to creat a memory card and if your iso is on SD make sure your sd card isnt locked...

@FIX94 now that the Nintendo Switch will very likely support Gamecube via Virtual Console - does this 'whet your appetite' for a possible port of Nintendont over to the Switch in some form or other?

If I had to guess I would say the Gamecube VC on the Switch will be recompiled, not virtualized or emulated. The only three titles I know of so far are all Nintendo properties.

yeah they probably will just port the games and make them hdish like windwaker hd and twilight princess hd, i doubt the switch has enough power for full on gc emulation, its better to port the games.

I load my games through USB and have Nintendont on my SD. How much space does creating a save file usually need? (In conjunction with Homebrew apps, I also use my SD Card for Smash 4 hacks.)

if games are on usb then nintendont will save on usb, depeding on the size of mc you choose its the save file the default option is multi off and 259 blocks wich creates a 2mb save per game so you got space on usb? maybe take a picture of your nintendont settings.

Hmm. Nintendont was working great. Most games I play more than others are on my HDD, but I keep a few MULTIDISC games on DVD that I wouldn't play as often. Those MULTIDISC games were working just fine until today when I updated Nintendont to v4.436. Now when the list comes up, the titles are in RED and it wont select any of them. I can't even go back to main menu or press HOME to exit out. I have to reset my WII. Is there a reason i'm having this issue with this version. I haven't gone back to an earlier version yet, but i probably will.

Red means the titles aren't aligned correctly for some reason. Not sure how they worked before.

I'd recommend reripping the games to the HDD anyway - it'll work better than DVD-R.

Wave Race Blue Storm is said to be compatible with Nintendont but I get a black screen. I wasn't on the latest version of Nintendont but I upgraded and still get a black screen. The compatibility list says "widescreen issues" so I made sure widescreen and progressive are off but still doesn't work.
