My comment wasn't directed at the OP. It was directed at everyone else in this thread giving him bad information. You've missed the point. I'm saying those who tried to help, should have googled before assuming "brick". Noobs helping noobs.... is destined to failure.
guess it worked out as it always does around here.

Please tell me you're joking.

Luma3DS v6.1.1.
Just FYI it's a better practice to always try and stay updated with the programs you use. Luma6.6 has been out for the longest time now and in the future being updated will prevent future problems for the most part. This goes for everyone reading this.

Heres an easy fix for that if you have SDless A9LH installed. Alls I do is boot up my 3ds without my sd card and it boots an empty homemenu... And then i just plug my sd card in and everything loads... I just boot up Luma Updater and reboot and bam, were done. No pc needed :P

The reason why I posted this was because I remember hearing that A9LH will never get patched, so just updating should be fine. So when I updated to 11.3 and my 3DS suddenly stopped working, I think you all can understand that I was really suprised.

You're completely right. However when doing the A9LH tutorial I never thought too much of Luma and didn't really know its function.

I was talking more in general that updating any program you use and keeping them updated regardless of their importance, should stay updated if nothing more than just to avoid possible bugs that got fixed with each update. Something as critical as a cfw though should be top priority in keeping updated though, maybe not nightlies per say but at least stable.

So how did you fix it? I had the same problem after trying to update to 11.3 and my 3DS doesn't start anymore. How to fix? I also used A9LH and Luma 5.5. If I try to turn on the 3DS without the SD card, it blinks the blue led and does not start...

Turn on Autoboot SysNAND, Use SysNAND FIRM if booting with R and Show NAND or user string in System Settings. Thats what I turned on for my old3ds if it's a new 3ds then that might not be correct. Look at https://3ds.guide/ for more information.
