New Pikachu 3DS revealed and Mario Sports Superstars release date

Today Nintendo revealed a new Pikachu themed Nintendo 3DS XL. Here is the PR:
  • Pikachu Yellow Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL: On Feb. 24, an electrifying new design for the New Nintendo 3DS XL hardware will hit store shelves. The colorful yellow system sports a charming drawing of popular Pokémon Pikachu on the cover and will be available at a suggested retail price of $199.99.

Nintendo also announced the release date for the upcoming Mario Sports Superstars for the 3DS, releasing March 24th.

Mario Sports Superstars: The action-packed game launches on March 24 and offers five full-featured sports like Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Baseball and, for the first time in a Mario sports game, Horse Racing. Each sport stars Mario and his friends (and enemies!) from the Mushroom Kingdom and can be played in local or online multiplayer modes. (Players must own the game and a Nintendo 3DS system to compete in multiplayer mode.)
New Mario Sports Superstars amiibo cards: By tapping one of these new amiibo character cards while playing Mario Sports Superstars, players will get a variety of fun bonuses. The Mario Sports Superstars amiibo cards can be purchased in blind packs of five at a suggested retail price of $4.99 each, starting on March 24. For a limited time, the Mario Sports Superstars game will include one amiibo card packed in.

I have saw this pikachu version before SM release in the japanese, haven't noticed that it haven't a western release :v

Hope the tennis there be better than the lasts mario tennis :/ I missed the good and with content ones :v
ok, GC haven't THAT content but had awesome movies opening XD a nice gameplay... 3DS was ok but no one wanted to play with me .A. and never found someone online :v I never really played much of the GB or even played the GBA one but the rpg think looked nice, they let die a lot of potential xp

If the football game in this is anything like the one from Mario & Sonic 2016 Olympic Games then it'll be simplistic as it can be. The definitive Mario Smash Football game still is the one on GameCube.

Nintendo first started to do Amiibo cards with that Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer game. It also works with the game on Wii U. 400 cards in all to collect.

I'm not into limited edition game systems but the Pokémon Sun/Moon system looks better to me. The novelty of the design will wear off eventually and you may change your mind.

I'm glad I own a standard new 3DS that has removable cover plates.

I loved my Yellow GBC, that's pretty dope. Something about unique colored factory shells I like. They should have made every color of GBC as 3DS's at launch.

Video games for non-businessman/woman shouldn't be about making an investment but if they do sell out and the buyer doesn't backtrack then no one can really say otherwise. I've pre-ordered two Limited Edition Zelda BotW sets so that I'll resell the statues/games individually and use that $ towards covering the cost of the Pro Controller or whatever.

It's Nintendo's fault for overcharging.
