Haha, man at least, this team was very good. Handled the ups and downs and did the right thing.

Finally, the game went to another team, but the amount of work put by you guys was enormous!

I hope you guys get what you deserved

kinda ... lost evolution is the BEST digimon game either for DS or PSP (ofc without the fact digimon games from psp are in 3d while ds are 2d ones)
it's the best game-playin and it's a large number of digimon with it's very own system.

i think everyone lives will B so much better playin this fuckin gud thing in eng (ofc, without translation means equal to "no playin")

I've been following this thread since it began and i'm quite disappointed. Not because it is not out yet, but because the team currently working in the patch is focusing in translate RE

igitize and in my opinion this game sucks. Even the 3DS one. The DS ones are waaaay better than those crap and i'm waiting for Lost Evolution to be translated for,like, forever. But i'm just venting, who am i to say anything?

yay! gud 2 C a guy from the same country like me here - and yeah, i totally agree with ya!
the fact is -> even if these ps things are in 3d, it does not mean that these ps things are better than the 2d ones.

i mean : i think 3ds and psp ones have about 200 playable digimon (yes, it sucks) while ds ones have about 400 digimon

LOST EVOLUTION has 314 digimon - 310 excludin those chibi ones (i mean DOT). btw it still gud cuz there are lotta changes in this game, includin graphics with best quality, maps with large size, new items added (kinda ancient spirit evolution), new digimon added (some royal knights, 4 holy beasts, seven great demon lords and olympus twelve) and many other things.
compared 2 dawn/dusk, lost evolution just lose in the number of digimon (397 in total) - btw these numbers mean nothing since it has no gud load of royal knights and has no ancient spirits. the last 'eek' thing about DAWN/DUSK is the fact u'll need the other version to complete the "digidex" (i mean if u're playin dusk u'll need dawn 2 complete the dex, got it?)

last thing, i know yugix is not involved with it anymore but i wish anyone here let opdecoded know our oppinion, just leave US a taste of it,release 4 US either a patch or the patched game and then u guys from opdecoded can take ur time finishin this amazin thing. that's simple (so easy).

Comparing the roster of a 2D sprite based game with basically no animation involved against a 3DS game is not a fair assestment.
You do realize it's much harder to create 3D Models than 2D Sprites, yes?
Also only because you prefer a certain style of a game this doesn't make the other game automatically crap.

Just for your information: Bashing one of our projects won't help your cause and definitely won't make us speed up for the other project.
We are working on this, there is progress but between this a Digimon Story game was actually localized (Cyber Sleuth) whereas neither Redigitize nor Decode were localized.

Some fans also seem to forget: We are not a company, you don't pay us for doing this. We don't gain anything by doing this, only you guys do.
We can drop this any time and we don't lose anything. We only gain free time back.

So consider this: A group of people is doing something out of the goodness of their hearts, for a unthankful fanbase that criticizes their projects and
they STILL keep doing it. For 0$ an hour, for a fanbase that won't appreciate it and forget about the group as soon as they got what they wanted.
Now tell me: How many of you people out there would be willing to do that? Not that many.

Also: If what we do is so simple and easy, you are welcome to do it yourself.

i really appreciate ur work guys, i mean from yugix and from u romsstar.
i'm really glad and many other plp are happy too cuz u guys put all ur soul in ur translations, and ur group have top quality.

but the thing i told right there is u guys just could give us a little taste of ur job u've done so far, i mean since u got the project from yugix and his team.
patches will be so much gud for everyone either for us who wanna play it and from u guys who are workin on it. why? beacause we 'll have something to play until the game got finished and u guys don't need to hurry. (that's why i said "it's easy") - gud both sides.

I understand your position. But the problem with partial patches is they are prone to have errors and cause crashes, and when a story is not complete, it kinda ruins the fun factor too.
A menu only patch won't help anyone much either. I speak from experience.

Also: Going for the full translation gives us much more motivation: We won't stop midway.

My computer broke down, I lost lots of data (that I luckily recovered) and between that I have a job and a personal life to take care of.

oh yeah, it's really a bad thing, i know what u feel, my note broke down many and many times when i used notebook. the simple fact is notebook's hardware get super-hotter and there is only one small cooler inside it, while computers have dozen of coolers. so i had 2 adquire a computer.

and another time THANKS u guys are amazin we really appreciate ur job either lost evoluion or other projects.

First of all, you guys (you and your group, from now own I will just say team), decided to pick up this translation (that was falling apart, not because of team management but the lack of translators) from yugix and co. Even that your team was already busy with many project. So this point invalidate your past statement about time and free time.

Second, nobody points your team with a gun and asked for translations. Your team decided to do it at expenses of being constantly asked about the status and the beggers. So this invalidate time + money.

Third, your team already said a deadline, I don't want to copy paste it again so many times, but your team missed deadline so badly, that you didn't said anything and let it dissapear like "nothing happened" or an april joke.

I could go on, but I think you get the message.

What you did with Re Digitize was inpressive and worth it. No doubt this will be amazing as will the eventual Decode translatio (which will make me buy a damn 3ds flash card)

To those complaining (not pointing fingers cause hooves) about how long it takes or about the deadlines set.

A deadline is not a certainty its simply a date on which someone, or a group hopes to release something don't cling to it.
Because there are all kinds of things can happen that forces them miss it.

And if you don't like that you have to wait a long time for a (fan)translation, start learning the language of the game you are waiting for.
Since not only opens it new opportunities in your normal(daily) life, it will also open up a lot more games then the one you are simply waiting for to be translated.

Wow, so much hate. I'm sorry if i offended you, that was not intentional. I was not attacking you or saying something like "GIMME THAT TRANSLATION, YOU OWN ME THAT DAMN IT GIMME GIMME", i was just saying that i tried Digitize and it was not my cup of tea, that i prefer 100% the 2d ones in terms of gameplay and i'm kinda sad that the focus was in Digitize and i guess now it will be Decoded and not Lost Evolution. Thats all, hope you understand that i didnt wanted to offend you.

BTW, i tried again Digitize with your team translation and despite the game being so boring you guys did an awesome work in the translation, if Lost Evolution come out with that top quality work it will be worth waiting.

It's going. More slowly than we had intended, because personal life stuff came up for Romsstar and I. It's unfortunate, but as we don't get paid for this job, sometimes it goes on the back burner.

Stick with Japanese names for all names.

Use localized names (from Dawn/Dusk) for old names, and Japanese for new names.
