I was able to activate my PS Vita system through official manners for some odd reason but still thanks for the quick reply.

here is a simple little program i made which shows you your console id by reading it from the ConsoleID.bin generated by VitaCID just extract the zip and place your console id bin file in with the exe and run it.
it will read you your console id code aswell as put it in a text file its probably something thats not needed for now but i made it for fun in a few mins so i thought why not.

this may be of more use in the future when we have programs out there that require the console id code for for making ps1 vpks and other converters, things along those lines if or when stuff like that become a thing.

Coc4tm, is this still working by any chance?

Trying to activate my Vita so I can transfer a demo from my PSP to it for Adrenaline access. Missed the PSN spoofing window, argh. Hoping this method might still work.

Not working for me, all it does is a blank screen for the act.dat page

Yes, this is not going to work now since Sony has changed their keys that will only work on the latest firmware. If there was a way to get those keys, we'd have spoofing again and you'd not need this method for generating act.dat

You have to use a PS3 to transfer a PSP/Vita game/demo to your Vita. That's the only way (currently) to activate.

I have been trying to do this but every time I try connecting with content manager it tells me I need to update the Vita's firmware. Any idea what is going on?
