Nope. It's really weird all the other cores FF well. Maybe it's a problem in the last nightlies I downloaded.
Edit : gave up, deleted my cfg file and it works now. I'll never know, this is frustrating :D
Edit2 : Oh I get it now ! You can't FF if Rewind is enabled. Dunno if it's normal or not. Anybody playing Retroarch on a computer knowing ? Tomorrow I'll check with the other cores and post an issue if needed

HATARI definitely needs SDL, and I am not 100% sure, but I think the problem I had compiling MAME2010, is that it also only supports SDL, or I just didn't know how to correctly define it as a NON-SDL build.

This is why I thought about making a port of SDL for Wii U. Not sure if I will, but it really needs to eventually be done.

Would like to know if these games/cores are working/might work

arcade
Killer Instinct
KI Gold
NBA Jam
Battle toads

Mame/MESS Cores!!!!!!
Sharp X6800
Sharp X-1 Turbo
PC 98
CD-I
Would love to see some of these mess emulators as stand alone cores is that doable? I don't know if mame that includes mess is even a working core, I'm new to the wiiu side, usually just use vwii retroarch
I asked this a while back never got any replies but I would love to know if any of these work or if mame can be compiled featuring a single mess core to keep the size down like you do with the fba cores
Thanks

Off the top of my head we have:
Mame
FBA
Super Nintendo
Megadrive/Master System/Game Gear
GameBoy Colour/GameBoy
Gameboy Advance
Nintendo
Odyssey
MSX
Atari2600/7800
Lynx
PCFX
PCE
Virtualboy
Quake
Doom
Wonderswan
Vectrex
NXengine
Game and Watch

I think that's about it, I will say that the Killer Instinct games don't work (unless you don't mind the Snes version) :)

I'm testing several vertical shmups with 'core provided' aspect ratio and they still stretch the image making them look wider. Scale Integer = ON is supposed to be somekind of 1:1 perfect pixel? Because yeah the image is small but the ratio still wrong (4:3), I'm not sure the ratio used by those vertical shooters it's a skiny vertical screen like Ikaruga. I could fix it manually selecting another aspect ratio but it shouldn't be automatic? Since the core is handling the ratio, instead the user?

Hm, still can't get FB Alpha to run 3rd Strike. Are the little hidden files Macs make when writing to SD cards known to break anything with Wii U Retroarch? That's the only thing I could think of not making it work for me unless the game just isn't supported. But it's alright since I can still use the stand alone CPS3 core to play it.

Also, now that we have multiple controller support is it possible to make a controller besides the gamepad player 1? Don't believe I saw anything when messing around with quick menu settings yesterday.

In FBAlpha, this is in the README - "Samples should be put under SYSTEM_DIRECTORY/fba/samples"

This should equal sd:/retroarch/cores/system/fba/samples

Are you using homebrew channel 1.4? Do any of the other retroarch emulators work from the link you've posted?
Well Snes9gx works but idk how i got it to work. I just got a snes9gx folder that had 2010 at the end of it and put it in the retro folder and loaded retro launcher then it auto loaded it
