Hacking Question about Save Game and updating games

Hi,
I have a Question, mainly because I have one game that crashed at a specific point in game every time so I cannot go on.
Now I got myself the VPK again hoping that this will fix it but somehow the game has a differend ID (maybe I had US version and now EU or other way around ...) but of course the new installation won't recognize the Saves from the other one ... is it possible to use the old saves with the other game ?

I tried copying over the save file folder trough Vitashell but allways got an error.

Maybe I could just update the installed game ? I guess as I have v1.0 and I read that there are several updates that this might fix my problem, but I have no idea how to do that XD

(don't even know how to use that qcma thingy I only use ftp and that's it, I have to much Computer problems at my work every day so that I don't like solving problems at home if I can)

Oh yeah I forgot, even though I have a Vita (3.61 -.-) I use a PSTV if that changes anything ... I read the new Vitashell can only use USB with the Vita and not the PSTV as example ...

What error are you getting with VitaShell? You probably need to enable "Unsafe Homebrew" in the Molecular Shell settings, an update with Henkaku disabled access to some parts of the system in order to avoid things like system brickers and such. Once that's enabled, you should be able to access the entire Vita filesystem.

Also, the different ID is indeed because of the region change. If you have a save for a specific region, I would suggest simply finding the VPK for that region of the game and using that instead.

As for updating the game, check wherever you get your VPKs to see if the uploader (or someone else) has provided the updates in VPK/Maidump form.

This is the error now I just got it while trying to install the game again and even deleting some junk folder oO

Yeah, I believe that's related to unsafe homebrew. Do you have it enabled already?

Hmm I had the unsafe mode activated which probably was a bad idea now my Memory Card is completely broken ^^V can't even format it

lucky I only had a totaly overpriced 8GB card and not one of those 128gb ones

Sounds like it got corrupted then, which has nothing to do with unsafe mode unless you went and downloaded and ran some malicious VPK (which I doubt)
