Apparently there is a rumor floating around of a Fire Emblem Fates Switch port.
Funny, because I was just about to post this.
I don't even need a new main Fire Emblem game yet, because the whole split the game into many piece nonsense came about, I never got Fates. So I'm hoping, even if it is really doubtful, that they port Fates onto the Switch, all as one game as default. This is also why I think the main series is going to go up to the $60 mark. Not to mention, they really should give Advance Wars some love.
Looking forward to Fire Emblem Warriors.
Liked times 500 for the return of Advance Wars. Days of Ruin was too dark. But I loved the first three titles, Dual Strike in particular. I've beaten Dual Strike at least three or four times.

I'd rather have a new FE game than another terrible localization.
I pray to God that Nintendo has learned their lesson. I could only hope we won't see something as terrible as Fates again.
The game you want exists, you could've bought it when it was released.
It's still being sold second hand, albeit a bit more expensive. But nothing you can't afford.

This also gives them more time to develop the next Fire Emblem... or another IP altogether.

If they also re-localize the entire game in the process, and toss out an M-rated Fates instead of this bastardized version we got on 3DS, then I'd buy it.

Fire emblem fates get same treatment as Hyrule warriors.... then few months later confirm hyrule warriors switch.... even though dragon quest heroes is already confirmed. Seriously how many people like dynasty warriors and ALL THE CLONE RESKIN GAMES.

I wonder if they're going to port ALL their most popular wii u/3ds games to the switch. I'm okay with all these ports so long as they add something of value, like turning a 3ds game into a console game (like all those vita-to-ps4 games we're seeing), or it was normally a non-mobile version of a game.
I've only ever played that one 3ds fire emblem game, so I'll probably pick up this one when released. I like my waifus, and I like them rated "I can't play them in public without embarrassment".

I love zelda games, I loved Hyrule Warrior, I never played fire emblem, do you think ill like fire emblem warrior or i loved hyrule warrior just because i love zelda games?

Well the regular fire emblem games take time to get used to. It isn't like zelda. If FE Warriors is like Zelda Warriors you might like it if you liked Zelda Warriors.
Hopefully we'll see something new for the 3DS.. but I'm guessing the chances of that aren't likely.
Either way I'm looking forward to the Fire Emblem-like game from Chucklefish, or just playing more of the old FE games. I'm on the last chapter of FE4.
