I can understand why most would think he's a scum bag for selling a service like that, but on the other hand it could be a good thing for many people that don't have access to a PC or don't know how to do it.

About the same as people at markets selling copied movies/games, no more, no less.

I removed the original 30 games, and have loaded 135 roms with box arts, (no bottom thumbnails) and everything is working great, no c8 issues so far. The theory is the # of games is tied to the amount of art assets so ditching the small thumbnails at the bottom of the screen gives u room for more overall games, and ditching the original 30 and loading them as roms also gives u more overall space. I'm gonna keep adding roms until I max this thing out.... and leave a few save slots but not that many would rather have more games
Could you tell me how it is done ? Thnks!

Seem that a lot people are joining the scene..
Made a video maybe it come in handy forsome people

Just curious, is it possible to manage the savestates/sram files on the classic? I'd like to put my earthbound beginings .sav file onto my classic, rather than replaying through 70 percent of the game again :P

I created an account here because of this thread and I just wanted to say I'm excited to hear that we will be able to reset the NES mini from the controller in the next update. That's huge!

Sorry, maybe not. Here e Quote from the FAQ:

Q: Can you modify emulator so the combination of buttons on gamepad will trigger reset?

A: It is possible in theory but need to disassemble binary of emulator. I have not so much skill.

If that's the case then I'll buy a 8bitdo nes classic mini receiver which does let you reset the console. It's out in the states. Seems like I'll be getting one of those.

Thanks for your earlier reply. I very much want to play Legend of Link, but just want to confirm I have this right:

1. Download Legend of Link romhack patch
2. Download Legend of Zelda (PRG0) ROM
3. Apply patch to ROM with LunarIPS
4. Add patched ROM file through hakchi2 and flash as normal

Is that correct, or is there a pre-patched version of the ROM I just download? The instructions out there all say I have to use the (PRG0) ROM file of the original Zelda game and patch it, so I want to be sure the NES Classic won't have an issue with the file.
Sorry but i was at work until now.
I think that LunarIPS cannot patch .bps files, the others steps are ok.
You need to use a program like beat by byuu or Floating IPS v1.31 to patch .bps files.

There are more greats hacks that works in Mini NES like:
Castlevania Chorus of Mysteries V2

Super Turrican PLUS

Gradius AC

Rgs.

Just want to say great work on the program...

Has anyone had any luck getting Silva Saga to work? The game loads properly, when I go to create a player, instead of getting the name entry, I go directly to a ship in the middle of the sea with no character names and can't do anything... not the way the game is supposed to load by any means...

I got Lunar IPs but it won't load this cause it's a bps file, what program should I use? I patched rolling thunder with the French translation and I got that to work on the mini, since it changed the mapper from 64 to whatever is compatible with the nes mini.

you need to patch with this program for bps

Again just wait till the next release and save your money. The info in the OP will be updated as Cluster said himself in this thread (go back a few pages) that he's sussed with one simple line of code how to do the reset console from the pad.

...I'm also eagerly waiting for the next release as it's personally my most wanted feature. :)I know it's a big no, no to ask a dev when they will release the next binary but hopefully it soon?

For the record I've actually got a couple 8bitdo pads (but hooked up to my original snes using their retro relievers) and they are great pads.

I hope it comes in next update? While the Wii classic controller works I don't like the button layout. On the 8bitdo I can change the buttons. I hope cluster releases the reset. I like the old nes layout

This model i verified has the option to reset if you add a button to 2 pins internally and they are fairly cheap blog>post about it https://goo.gl/HklXBg
