Can someone help me here. Ok, I'm using Cemu 1.6.4b and I have problem with Donkey Kong TF. Game starts working fine, mostly 60 FPS (45-50 in some situations) but then suddenly FOS drops to like 15, and game works like in slow-motion, then again after some time it bumps up to 60 again. I'm having EU loadiine version. My PC specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 960T BE 3,52 GHz
That CPU is 7 years old . So you should not expect too much out of it
You will need a high clock Haswell/Skylake CPU to run games at playable speed . Core i3 6100 @ 3.7GHz or the new Pentium Kabylake G4560 @ 3.5GHz (2 cores 4 threads) should be sufficient enough , G4560 is twice as fast as your CPU in single thread performance
Btw , Cemu uses Shader Cache . The more you play, the less slowdown you have

Sorry, the title screen with my HD 5770 is exactly equal to that posted above, so I have the luminosity problem too, at least in the title screen. But the beginning of the game seems to look normal for me... haven't played it.
But it surely isn't crashing in my machine. I got a Phenom II X6 @ 3.8Ghz with 12GB RAM and HD 5770 1GB.
Are we sure talking about Xenoblade? What driver version you got? I got this since 1.6.2

I do know how old it is, but it's still a good CPU. Anyway, like I said already, Donkey Kong normally works for me at 50-60 FPS (mostly 60), but suddenly it gets drops do 15 FPS (at a specific point in every level) and game works like in slow motion until I past that place and it goes back to 50-60.
P.S. My English sucks, so sorry if I can't explain this properly.

Damn, Super Mario 3D World looks awesome at 4k and 60 FPS :D
Weirdly, graphics packs works for that game, but Mario Kart 8 doesn't apply the higher resolution. Anyone got a solution to that? Maybe it depends on the region version?
Or are those files by Slash fixes to these things?

Make sure that your MK8 title ID is in the rules.txt file.

It should work, not sure why. Are you playing windowed?

This will remove that annoying noise some of us, AMD users, are experiencing in Xenoblade.

Code:
[TextureRedefine]
width = 320
height = 180
overwriteWidth = 0
overwriteHeight = 0

Until AMD releases a fix for their drivers this is the best we can expect...

@Slashㅤ
In official build graphic packs the game super mario 3d world shows-

formatsExcluded = 0x34,0x35 # exclude map

but yours shows-

formatsExcluded = 0x008,0x41A,0x034 # exclude the intro background texture

i know your adding in 2 games into one but yours is missing the 0x35 for super mario 3d world, im guessing the other 2 (0x008,0x41A) are for captain toad game?
Id rather have these games separate not combined, might save confusion

Aaah, I just made a file for Captain Toad and was wondering why it was missing (didn't even try booting it up before) XD

Hm, I don't really get any titleID in the log when booting Tropic Freeze... another place where I can find that out? It's an updated Loadiine rom, so maybe that messes with the titleID? I thought the name of the ini file (that the log says is missing) would be the title but it doesn't work when I put it in the rules file...

Nice, a workaround for the artifacting in Xeno Polaris/GCN4 owners. Curious what exactly was that that texture (particle?) though.

Here
-snip-
For Example :
Code:
[Definition]
titleIds = 0005000010157e00,0005000010157f00
name = "Bayonetta 1 - 1080p"

[TextureRedefine]
width = 1280
height = 720
overwriteWidth = 1920
overwriteHeight = 1080

the format of texture pack is different for every PC or is the same for each game
in the second case, can share texture packs
