Really sucks how they've patched the RAM method with this update, I was going to downgrade my 3DS as soon as I bought a new Cubic Ninja game so I could import my old town back via Dream Suite. Oh, well. Maybe I can somehow mimic my older town with ol' Homebrew.

If you still have your old ram dump, you can convert it to a save file

This did just what I needed it to do, thanks so much! I don't usually cheat at Animal Crossing myself, but it was taking way too long to get the PWPs I needed (been playing since launch).

Hey there, thanks again for this awesome editor! I'm having a strange problem though. Every time I try to choose one of the new items from the drop down menu and place it on the ground, it places as "toy piano" instead of the item I placed. Am I doing something wrong? >_< The older items seem to place just fine, but the newer ones(added after amiibo update) turn into "toy piano"

Some of the items I tried to place that are doing this is fueki pot, nabiru ornament, donut cushion

Edit: It seems everything on the item list starting from "Toy Piano" to "mannequin 1" are simply turning into toy piano for me. lol Any input would be much appreciated ~_~

if you have the regular game with no amiibo update, it will not add in the newer "welcome amiibo" items into it. they simply dont exist and cannot be added. Doing so would be invalid to the hex code and pretty much brick your game [give or take im not experienced enough to say it will]

Hey there, thanks for replying! I eventually came to that conclusion as well haha XD I had an old garden.dat file (before the amiibo update) lying around that I just wanted to play around with on the Editor, before messing with my actual current game file. It makes sense that the new items don't work. I will have to test a new file after I get homebrew installed on my 3DS. Thank you! :)

It won't brick the game. It'll just replace itself with 0x7FFE (aka air / nothing)

You can add whatever you want from the new update but it won't show up.

Anyone know Nintendo's dream address? I think I found a method of dumping dreams without dumping RAM (however, it requires NTR) and I want to test on their town.
I'm probably going to keep this private in order to prevent massive dream dumping from the spider browser era.
Edit: Found it, 0000-000F-4241

Nintendo has there own dream address? Is there anything special about it? Also, I wanted to ask what you meant by preventing spider era dumps, I don't understand the problem.

People could steal any dream they wanted back with the spider exploit last year

Yup, I realized that now, thanks!

Another question: I hear that the editor allows you to have any new caravan/RV character come visit the campground. However, the caravan option wasn't available for me in the editor (again this could be because I was using an old garden.dat file which didn't have the amiibo update). But I just wanted to ask anyways, just in case, because later today I will be trying out a new garden_plus file. In order to get any additional caravans/RVs to show up in the campground, do I need to have at least one amiibo card? Or can I do it without any cards?

My apologies if this is a repeat question! I tried to read several pages back but couldn't find the answer >_<

Nope, you won't need to own any amiibo. I've had special campers in my town without wasting a cent on any of that stuff.
