I'm no hacker, but i'm pretty sure that, in theory, it should be possible to use fe fates as an entrypoint since it uses extdata for battle saves and extra saves, or am i just simple-minded?

I'll look into it. just as soon as I figure out women, and Time Travel. oh, and the secret to immortality. Sarcasm aside, it's HIGHLY unlikely FE Fates could be an entrypoint. Unless someone already found it to be and hasn't mentioned it, which I doubt...

exactly how many games use extdata for saving? im not exactly sure about how this works, but im fairly certain that extdata had nothing to do with the games that do have exploits getting hacked.
Extdata has barely anything to do with it. A flaw in the extdata would be found just like a flaw in the regular save data. The exploitable games we have now, say oot, cubic ninja, and sticker star, all do not use extdata. The only entrypoint that does make use of the extdata is genhax. Considering mhgen doesnt even have a regular save file, it saves entirely to the extdata.

You all are simply scaring devs away. No wonder why no one wants to develop for you all. I stopped my research long long ago. Maybe if you all were more grateful for devs, you might have someone actually try looking into it, and not scare them when they ask for advice or help. That is why I stopped my research.

That's the world. You can't get worked up about what other people think, just do what you think is right and if you're lucky people will care. But you shouldn't expect people to care, because people are cruel.
You have to do these things for you, not for anyone else. Kudos for having the willpower to hold back your work, but don't go around spewing ill will at people for doing the same thing to you. Don't perpetuate the cycle of hatred.

I won't. Here is why: I don't want to put up with you. I did it about 5 months ago. If you want to believe me, implement it yourself. After all, didn't you implement waithax? I think you did. You should be able to implement an exploit for fates if I were telling the truth.
