Yee-haw! It worked! NSMB2 and SM3DL ran accurately now without the shader glitch!

Has anyone tested this on the latest B.E. build?

  • Mario Kart 7
  • Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
  • Mario & Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move
  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars
  • Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
  • Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam
  • Ultimate NES Remix
  • Super Mario Maker 3DS
  • Sonic Generations 3DS
  • Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal
  • Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice
  • Kirby Triple Deluxe
  • Kirby Planet Robobot
  • Pushmo / Crashmo / Stretchmo
  • Sm4sh
Also, I heard that some StreetPass games are dumped and run on Citra. Which of them are?

The 3 games that I left are the ones that have issues booting.
Dark Moon crashes, Mario Maker has SD Card issues, and NES Remix has Broken: Panic attack.

For the Streetpass games, some that you knew might boot.l but won't work without wireless feature. But most important about Citra is the stability for now and not online support.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also, Mii Maker boots but you need the 3DS Keyboard PR to be merge at the Master build.

Even with your build, it's still not asking for the source.

Ok, nevermind then. Use this image and report it to GitHub.
Make sure to include the commit number you tested and also the relevant log.

Use this as the sample to report the issue.
https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/issues/2226
You want me to report what's going on with Visual Studio on GitHub, or are you talking about the problem I found with the game?
Also how can I get the log?

Report the problem you found in the game with the relevant log and include the Visual Studio image you provided as they need those information to solve this issue.

You can use this as the title or anything you think is suitable
[Game Name] - Crash with Shader JIT

The log is the command prompt (the black window that appear together with the citra executable)
Your post have it https://gbatemp.net/threads/citra-new-3ds-emulator.365154/page-305#post-6913448

@Kumoashi You can use all the images in this page and post it in GitHub.

I'm playing Zelda MM all day and I'm impressed with Citra! Not a single crashing, not a single glitch. The game has many side quests and it's amazing that they all work as they should, so far at least. It's a little unnerving when the game is build upon such an unusual scheme of gameplay.

The rest are okay. But crash somehow.
Thx. Two last things: 1. Is any software for grabbing update content of 3DS games, like NUSGrabber for Wii U?
2. In replay to the issue you have encountered in Super Mario Maker 3DS, if you wanna just play Super Mario Challenge Mode, you should still consider SD card issue?

Hopefully, my account will get unbanned on that site. :)
2. Still not sure. But I played the game and there's no loading screen in Mario Challenge.

Not to Citra but maybe to some Citra users? I have no idea to be honest. I don't care about 3DS homebrew hacks (unless it's an interesting talk / article on how the exploits work).

Hopefully, my account will get unbanned on that site. :)

Not sure this time to be honest. IIRC: You've been banned for talking about leaked games (pre-release) which is one of the worst violations of our rules.
You've also done this twice (first with Pokemon, then with Mario Maker) as far as I remember. As you've been banned twice in such a short time frame it might be permanent this time? Note that our (internal moderation) rules state that repeat offenders will be banned permanently.
However, I was not involved in the ban and I can't see the ban information either (as I'm merely a mod, not an admin).
If it is a timed ban you should consider yourself very lucky.

Oh yeah! I remember that it is a timed ban. So yeah. Lucky me. Also, can you add that rule to the Citra Community? Maybe someone might try to leak another game's info on the site? Please?

You are welcome to fix and improve it. PPSSPP and PCSX2 are emulators for very different platforms.
Then get a better PC or learn how to develop software and become a contributor.

You don't get to complain for something volunteers create in their free time.
If you don't like it: fix it or leave it.

You need a 3DS to dump the system-files / home-folder anyway (still) + you need to buy your games to be able to legally play them.
So instead of complaining about an improvement / extension to your gaming ecosystem you can stick to what you got and play on your actual 3DS.

They use PCs bought after 2005.
I personally run a shitty X230 (2013) and some i7 920 / GTX260 (2010).

You are welcome to buy me a better system as I barely get any playable framerates.
(Which is a sad joke to be honest - developers should be running a faster system than users so they have extra room for experimentation)
