Prettier Banners

The Homebrew Launcher's graphics aren't pretty enough for me.
So I made them prettier.

DOWNLOAD
Copy contents to /storage_xxx/usr/title/00050000/13374842/meta
If on USB, use /storage_usb. If on system memory, use /storage_mlc.

The same goes for the System Config Tool.
That bright red background hurts my eyes.

If on USB, use /storage_usb. If on system memory, use /storage_mlc.

How to install

NOTE: Do this in RedNAND.

Download ftpiiu everywhere and place the .elf into the /wiiu/apps/ftpiiu_everywhere/ folder on your Wii U's SD. This folder will most likely not exist; create it.
Download the Prettier Banner pack that you want to install. Extract it to a folder.
(Optional) To ensure that the banner and icons are safe to use on your Wii U, use TgaVerify. I can confirm that they work perfectly on a USA Wii U, but this is more to check for possible corruptions during the downloading or extracting process.
Install an FTP client if you don't have one already. I recommend using FileZilla or WinSCP.
Verify that your Wii U and PC are on the same Wi-Fi. Launch ftpiiu everywhere using the Homebrew Launcher on the Wii U. ftpiiu will display an IP on screen. Connect to it using your PC's FTP client.
Copy the contents of the Prettier Banners download to their respective directories shown underneath the download link.
Reboot! Your banners are now prettier.

It should work just fine. Don't hold me to that, though, as I haven't tested it on SysNAND.

Does not work on SysNAND, presumably because of the modified bootLogo
You should be able to replace everything else though

use the modified boot logo in cfw it has patches for custom bootMovie and bootLogo

tried this on sysnand and everything showed up fine until I switched off the wiiu then the homebrew channel went back to the old icons.

Edit forget that I just tried it again and it now seems to be working after I switch the wiiu off lol not sure why it did not work the first few times I tried.

I love these designs. I was always bothered by the current HBL banner design because the glow effects were completely destroyed by the 24-bit TGA format.

Thank you for these! Too bad I won't be able to enjoy the sysConfigTool design because sysConfigTool doesn't show its banner when installed on sysNAND.

To be honest.. it's bad manners to say the current banners aren't pretty...
The better way is to ask politly if you could submit a better one..

I got asked by Maschell (He loved my HIDToVPAD 1.1 Design<3 https://puu.sh/rqDTn/dfe8e3f4ce.png) to make a HBL banner and icon, because they didn't had one at the time, Dimok choose another instead, and now? Should i say my is better or start a thread about it saing i dont like it, here a better ones? No.

i like the current ones and wouldn't say it's not pretty.
I'm sure there are people who dont like the IOSUHax banner which i made, if it's not changed. Not sure, don't use it much~

and it would p*ss me off if someone say even Bee Movie is better than it, instead submit friendly, another one without advocate it.

I said, "isn't pretty enough for me". I wasn't saying that it doesn't look good objectively. I'm poking fun at myself in the OP, because it's something so trivial and silly.

I'm not aiming to replace the banners in the official distribution of the HBL channel, I just want to give other users the option to use my graphics, if they happen to like them more.

And, for the record, I love the IOSUHax banner. Actually, it's one of the reasons that I put this idea into action in the first place.

I mentioned before in a post that got deleted for some reason, that I mean no disrespect by this at all. I'm not trying to genuinely insult any of the original graphic designers, or say that their product is bad. I'm just a graphic designer like you, and I made these because I think they look nice.

Don't seems it's working the mega address man, but from them pic I can rework to remake them in HD and the TGAs ....you need both?

Hi!

I customize a few forwarders (SNES9X, VBAGX, FCEUGX, Wii64...) with Teconmoon but only works with .dol, and I want to customize a LoadiineGX2 forwarder with my custom icon and my custom banner.

Can you tell me what kind of tool use to customize a .elf?
