Just out of curiosity, what are the file sizes? The first was 272b, others have been as high as 1kb.

The files should all be 272 bytes. Also, this shouldnt brick you. The system will boot even with garbage data used as a lfcs. No promises ofc, but we haven't heard of any bricks yet.
I think I read that someone didn't have A9LH and bricked, but also didn't say if they were on 9.2.

Well, it would be even more safe with a9lh, since you can backup and restore sysnand. I wouldnt be suprised if this person's brick was due to user error.

I said that already, to speed up the GTS request taking process. I already had an old save with the dex complete (for quick searching purposes). I would send a pokemon on one system, then do it on another, 2 trades at once instead of 1, as I realized the time spent trading is very significant. Genning the pokemon is rather quick, a couple seconds compared to 20-30 seconds, and when you're doing 25 requests or so an hour, with time spent searching and sifting through other deposits, yeah it takes up time and I want to make it easy on myself. It's bad enough there are not enough genners to help out, it's bad enough that I'm the only genner on the clock and basically with no life, thus being able to spend absurd amounts of time on requests, it's bad enough that on multiple occasions I've stayed up near, even exactly 24 hours and at least one time, could not catch up with requests, I crashed. So I didn't commit the Gateway sin out of selfishness, piracy, any kind of cheating. I did it basically to help myself and in turn help people.
Edit: about the header thing, I used headers I dumped from the carts themselves. I think it's a save thing, because it was two of the same save, just different in time and game progression.

Actually if you have unlinked emunand and sysnand and no a9lh I'm pretty sure it's a 100% brick

You may as well use it on the banned 3ds. Youre already permabanned so its not like a ban is a big threat to that system. Just backup your legit lfcs first, that way if the public one gets banned again, you can reatore the original one.

Well, the second ban wave still hasn't hit me despite me having time stamps on Pokemon from before, and probably a Friend Card timestamp from the 17th. I just checked my GTS and went on eShop.

I guess its possible since you would have 2 trainers with identical info online at once, but I still doubt it. Did each game have a unique header, or did you use the same one for both?

The first was Nov. 16th, the second was Nov. 19th, third was...pretty sporadic. Other than lfcs_b-bans, it's pretty random. But exclaiming 'I'm not banned' (or close to it), may not be a good idea. Just for the karma, you know.
I was really just trying to get a grasp on what else they can be looking for.
I guess the same header, I mean it's the legit cart, and then the rom, and I used the private header dumped from that legit cart.
