Ah okay, I don't have Haxchi, would fw.img do?
The link (with the newest fw.img-less IOSUhax) makes fw.img unnecessary, unless you want RedNAND (you probably wont). Here is the Thread about Haxchi, read it: https://gbatemp.net/threads/haxchi-v2-0-a-persistent-wiiu-hack.451071/

You might want to edit the Haxchi config file to contain the following line:
default=[path of where you have iosuhax]/iosuhax.elf
or
default=[path of where you have iosuhax]/iosuhax_nosplash.elf

Stay away from the iosuhax_coldboot.elf!

in the future yes, when he decide a name for that new homebrew and create a new git to post releases.
Or, if he decide it's an update of simple signature patcher, then we rename that thread to the next name he decides and the git will be updated.
edit:
oh, I see there's not even signpatcher 1.0 :P sorry

I think it's better to make two different homebrew, as the first one was released as "simple sign patcher" already, and should only patch the signature.
Creating another project which include signpatch and more patches might be better, but if he really want to rename this to the new project name that's fine too.
keeping signpatch homebrew as standalone app is maybe not useful? well, we never know what could be useful in the future.

I have an idea: maybe we can create an hbl (homebrew launcher app) that integrates signature patcher? i.e: you don't have to run simple elf patcher, and then usb installer y mod. Signatures are patched automatically whenever hbl is launched. Thanks.

I can't wait for the "coldboot-enabled sign_patcher" that I've been hearing about. Coldboot right into a sig-patched WiiU? YES PLEASE

Hey everyone,

I've written something new. It's a full featured iosuhax cfw like thing with wupserver, /dev/iosuhax node, all the signature check patches and a full os reload which makes it a clean firmware again. The difference is, it does not require any fw.img on your SD card or else where. All the nice stuff is inside the ELF file and I can perfectly share it with everyone. The custom firmware is equal to the "make cfw" build on my iosuhax fork regarding the features. It even reloads itself like iosuhax when you enter settings and leave them again from memory (ELF file is only required on first launch). You are not loosing the patches or anything.

So here are some PoC builds that you guys can try out (and maybe report if you find something out of ordinary):
version with splash screen:
http://www99.zippyshare.com/v/Gr7qDsDA/file.html

version with splash for coldbooter:
http://www84.zippyshare.com/v/rWrDiPTf/file.html

and a small version without splash to show how small it can be (90% of the size is the splash screen):
http://www43.zippyshare.com/v/Q0pDbp60/file.html

I will also make a redNAND version later but its not done yet.

I am thinking of giving this thing a new name as it is not very alike to iosuhax as it was before. It is quite different. Though parts of iosuhax are also big part of it, like the wupserver. So I think it should be a name that reminds one of iosuhax or parts of it. We though of many funny names with @dibas, @Maschell, @Cyan and @pwsincd (like iosuramhax, yail (yet another iosuhax loader) or even NaCl) but nothing that we all agreed on. If you think of something nice, let me know.

Sources and stuff will come later. I need to clean it up a bit more and make it more dev friendly :P.

it would block the updates only when you patch the firmware, so on a fresh console boot you will need another way to block the update or it will initiate the download before you launch the patcher.
And that's only if there will be new updates.
My suggestion would be to disable the system update service and restore the DNS temporarily to the original setting when booting the CFW...

That way game updates and eShop would be available but the system wouldn't update the OS version...

I'm not sure if that's even possible yet but that would be nice...

For me personally, nnupatcher simply doesn't work for anything but viewing and purchasing eShop games... (game downloads / updates simply will not download...)

It's more complex in what it does, not how you operate it. Complicated is the word you are thinking of, maybe?
No here in Scotland if something is Complex it means it is very hard to use or understand so I stand by what I say in complex is not the right word to use to name the app.

Copied word for word from my dictionary

Complex.
adjective.
So complicated or intricate as to be hard to understand or to use:
