Heh, silly mistake? It looks like the recovery.elf was gonna be launched if any L, R, down or A buttons were pressed.
That's right. I tried the combination and it worked of course, so I thought everything was OK.

I also have this - 5 issue if I press A. If I don't press anything (to launch my RedNAND), it shows iosuhax screen and after that the screen goes black and stays that way. You said to install haxchi again with the updated file. However, I cannot seem to be able to launch HBL so how can I install it?
Also, I checked the contents of my SD card with a PC and there is no recovery.elf in it. Should it have appeared automatically? Or should I download it from somewhere?
PS: everything was working (HBL from sysNAND, RedNAND, and HBL from RedNAND) before I tried installing this coldboot. Any advice is appreciated.

Now we just need a way to lock haxchi's title uninstall and solve the fw.img twice boot

You forgot the recovery, that is a good implementation of you, makes things safer
The recovery mode is not depending on coldboothax but on my version of haxcho. Just install haxchi with my installer and skip the coldboothax installation
Last night I tried to install this coldboot hax, and the first outcome was a softbrick. The system would have bootloop trying to get iosuhax, so I attempted to uninstall it and replaced the syshax.xml and system.xml. Needless to say that I believe I bricked my system, is there anything I can do to fix this issue?
Well this is esencially a haxchi installer, but is a coldboothax installer too
Just got around to testing this. I'm glad we finally have an easy way to install haxchi, along with coldboothax.
The Wii U scene has greatly picked up in the last couple of months. We now have offline exploits as well as the ability to even hack vWii.
The last thing I have to wait for is the work of SALT and what they come up with.

Just to note I installed onto BrainAge US and set it to coldboot redNAND fw.img. Successful install first time, no problems colbooting into redNAND.
