Do you have CFW?
If no then go here: https://3ds.guide/
For further questions about CFW check the discord link in the provided guide. If you are on firmware 11.0 or higher then you will have a harder time hacking your 3ds.
Then grab NTR from Nanquitas here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-bootntr-selector.432911/
Create folder on root of your sd and label it "plg"
Download the cheats and drop your game version into the "plg" folder
Load NTR, then the game, you will get a green screen flash as confirmation that the cheats were loaded
Spam the "A" button and start your game, once in-game press "Select" to activate and view cheats
So I went through and read all the info on the CFW and NTR and it turns out that I am despite my capabilities with a soldering iron and wiring, I am not comfortable enough opening this thing and modding it :/ I guess I need to wait for the 11.2 version to come out ugh.
This has literally been asked and answered several times. It removes the outlines on the models ingame.
This seems like a really great cheat but I have a couple questions about it. #1: So this is for the actual physical new 3ds xl? #2: Is this cheat only for sun and moon or would it work with other games? #3: Is there any risk in installing this of you follow all the steps correctly. And could you get the original thing back later on if you don't like this? and the last question #4: Would you get banned or anything like that if you use this cheat for online trading or battles. Maybe not any xp cheat or catching other trainers pokemon but like just the no line mod? ( Sorry for so many questions but this is pretty exciting and when I first saw this with the pc mod, I started to wish it was on a 3ds but now it is)

His is the beta build and isn't released publicly yet. You can only get his beta builds on the discord currently
1. Works on physical and digital version
2. Only for sun and moon
3. If you are talking about using cheats then no, all you are doing is creating a new folder with a small file inside. If you are talking about obtaining CFW, then yes because there are inherent risks. Though most of the risk has been minimized it is still risky to hack your console.
4. NTR blocks going online and I don't think any battling cheats have been added (I still use the first release and only use the speed hack so I could be wrong on the cheats listed).
Any plans on getting an o3ds compatible plugin but limiting/removing some things so that it runs? Only interested in getting somethings like all clothes which is not currently obtainable in PkHex like it was in X and Y. Also, it's hard to find a n3ds on a firmware that can downgrade to 9.2 nowadays.

For anyone who was curious but lazy, or stuck on an o3DS: Screencaps with and without outlines.
Note, you have to leave an area and enter a new one for the graphics to refresh and the lines to appear or disappear after enabling the code.
