Hacking MaiDumpTool - Only decrypt eboot

Does anyone happen to know if this option lets you use plugins on downloaded games?

FF X-2 takes up 3.5gigs on my memory card by itself. Would it be possible to use that option to allow plugins with the game, then just qcma it to my pc to save space. Or do i need to extract the game and decrypt eboot, delete the game, reinstall it with Mai, and then qcma it?

Yup. You have to do exactly as you said. I assume you want to use amphetamine and RinCheat?

Ampthetamine maybe, RinCheat..i dunno. So far I've only had luck using goHANmem. Doesn't help that I have no idea what Heap and Stack mean. RinCheat looks to me like its more for dumping saves and scanning changes that way, which is time I could spend playing x.x

The one time I used rincheat it gave me all these zeros and ones on the corners of my screen even after i shut down the device. Never touched that homebrew ever again

Yikes! That definitely doesn't sound like something you wanna live through twice lol..damn. I doubt I'll even need cheats for X-2 either way, I mostly just want to free up some space and have the option for later. Maybe for that **** Shinra during the coin game tournament. It's the FFX blitzball 1st match all over again, except you need to actually win for a 100% file. I made a fatal error towards the end of the match by misreading one of the coin numbers since half of them look the same -_- . But I managed to land the skill gain boosting ability so I settled for the loss.

Yeah I am wondering the same thing. I have a few Legit PSN Games I want to use a Cheat Engine on. Small Problem: I find the Address for Ammo or Money, but when I try to Adjust the Value......nothing happens. So if I want to make a Decrypt/Backup Copy of it, go with Mai since it is supposed to have higher Compatibility? Then...
Extract/Decrypt Content.....
Select Game......
then????

I tried to do this with Urban Trial Freestyle using Vitamin 2.0 , but I cant see that it did anything or made a VPK
