So, to work out a Bravely Second Editor... could this thread help:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/bravely-second-money-hex-offsets.416169/

They documented not just money, but some stats and even the Unearthly Buns usage.

Considering how disgustingly easy it was to cap money/Villagers/exp/JP on my first play-through (on Hard, at that), I don't personally care about most editable things, but the Buns (and maybe unlocking the DLC Items, if they are identified at some time), that would be just epic, because that's the only slow grind in the game (I've only got Magnolia to 9-cap stats so far)

Since I can't figure out Hex Editing (i just make a mess of my save in the end), I keep hoping to find a Save Editor...

I'll keep playing through for a while and see if the issue still persists. I haven't tried fighting any nemesis or anything yet, but I've unlocked all of the areas without the editor, and the crashing still happens. I'm going to guess that the issue comes from me giving everything a level prior to even unlocking the new areas, although I don't know that for sure. I guess I'll test that out later as well.
Sir i have the same issues can you help me solve this problem , i forgot to make the backup of my save file before i edited it (sorry for bad english )

As far as I know, you may be able to edit the save to have no village buildings unlocked, and then unlock them normally, but it has been nearly 2 years since I've messed with the game so I won't be able to be of more help with that specific topic. As a reminder, the game itself is very prone to crashing when editing the save, so backup early and backup often.

Hello!

So, usually I am pretty nifty when it comes to stuff like this and am usually able to figure it out, but I seem to have hit a wall with my abilities on this one, and am just not understanding the process. I have downloaded all three of the files provided. I do not understand how to import my save file? I have attempted to open the colony.sav file with the villageeditor.exe but from my experiments I can tell I am pretty much no where near close to what i should actually be doing lol.

If there's anyway I could get more thorogh instructions on how to increase my number of villagers within my game on citra, I'd be very grateful!

Thank you very much ^^

Well, my main question would be what errors are you getting, if any? If citra works like other emulators I've used, it should just be a matter of opening the colony#.sav with the program, saving any changes, then placing it back in whatever save directory citra is using.

Hello! Sorry for disturbing. Can you help me please? I have some problem with my save file from Bravely Default CIA. So, my save file have form like "00000001.sav" but not "COLONY#.sav". From this I could not use your program. Program give me mistake like "pick file COlONY#..." etc. I decided to rename my save with zeros in colony# than program saw this and I changed population. After that I saved changes and renamed file again in 00000001.sav and put in my 3DS. So eventually I don't have increased population and my save was crashed, but the latest is not some important because I didn't play too much. The real problem is population. What I can do? Do you have any ideas? I would be so appreciated for your help.

No, I just launched my SD card with 3DS files on PC, then went to this way: F:\Nintendo 3DS\ID1\ID2\title\00040000\GAMEID\data\00000001.sav ; than I copied this 0000001.sav, changed name on COLONY#, next I used program, picked population, saved file, rename in 00000001.sav again and put instead unchanged in data.

That is an encrypted save file. Its not going to work. You need to decrypt the save using jksm or checkpoint.
