It may be possible using the selector, the problem is, what about course names?

Have you ever done any modding? Didn't think so.But can you try? Just give it a test. Or probably try lurking into the Game files even deeper.
You're right but what MrBean13500VR and Chadderz did something so that MKWii CTGP-R could support more cups. And Nintendo didn't put any secret in that game. So what I'm saying is trying to hack MK7 in a similar way too. But if it isn't possible then I won't insist.Have you ever done any modding? Didn't think so.
It's not like Nintendo added a super secret extra cup function for him to "test." He'd have to completely rewrite the main menu. I think it's impressive he's managed to move the icons as it is.
But if that's the case then there's no Harm waiting a few weeks as MY PC will be back and I'll use Win 10.There's nothing you can do about that.
Ctrtool must use an updated library. You can't downgrade it.
Your only way is to grab the sources and compile it yourself on Windows 7.
It'll tells you the errors if any, and if you compile it with the older lib it'll work on W7.
Or you upgrade his computer. Your call.
Make sure you are using lastest version (0.9.9), luma is updated and you aren't using a firmware.binI couldn't get NTR booting via the CTGP-7 Manager Homebrew. My screen freezes or I'm forced out to the homemenu and restart 3ds. Works fine if I manually start up NTR though.
O3ds, Emunand, FW 11.2, LumaCFW, NTR 3.2
MrBean and Chadderz went to university and have a computer engeneering master. I still go to school (next year I'll start university). They know many programming languages, including ASM. I only know a bit of C. The only person who may help is fishguy. You're right but what MrBean13500VR and Chadderz did something so that MKWii CTGP-R could support more cups. Actually, it seems like Nintendo made the game in a way they could add DLC easier. You can tell MK7 to load a certain course name (Gctr_TestTrack.szs), and it will do that. The problem is I haven't found a way to edit the RAM and change the current course name. About menu editing, the graphical part is easy to make as I only need to create a new layout. But the menu code would need to be changed, same as which music should be used, how the game saves, etc.Have you ever done any modding? Didn't think so.

Use 3dstool.exeHey Pablo, I'm having this issue. So I have CTGP-7 v0.95 and since I'm using HANS you know I need a PC to update. I have the CTGP-7.zip of the v0.98. Now I have made a few BCSTM and BCFNT hacks for CTGP-7. Unfortunately, I lost those changed files. But I can still get those files back because they are located within the RomFS I'm using for HANS. I renamed ctgp-7.romfs to romfs.bin and tried using the Command Line Interface to extract the RomFS contents with ctrtool. But, when I try to run ctrtool on my PC (not actually mine, my friend's; mine's gone for repair) it says "This version of ctrtool is not compatible with your OS Version". I tried using older ctrtool builds as well as the ones from the SDK but nothing worked out. Any help so that I could run it to merge my own hacks with CTGP-7 v0.98? Btw that PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate. Also, ctrtool runs fine on my Original PC, which is Windows 10 Home Anniversary Update Version.

You are completly wrong, I've merged BootNTR with the manager, so the ntr launcher is built in the manager itself. Lastest update (0.9.9) has full 11.2 support, but for some reason it's not working for some 3dses. I'm searching for a way to fix that issue, for now, use an external ntr launcher.I'I having the same issue as Gaming796 is. It appears that the issue is the manager, as it no longer detects astronauntlevel2's BootNTR program, and always tries to boot Namquitas' Enhanced BootNTR Selector, which is what I used to use on 11.1 but on 11.2 I use astronountlevel's BootNTR as it's the only one that works properly on 11.2 right now. The weird thing is that the manager will try to launch BootNTR Selector even when I don't have it installed. So yeah, the manager freezes because it tries to load NTR from the BootNTR Selector, which I've deleted. Even if I have the current version of the BootNTR Selector installed, the manager will freeze, but this is not a manager issue- it's just that the Selector hasn't been updated with the "11.2 take 2" patch like astronautlevel's BootNTR has, so BootNTR Selector will 99% of the time freeze when trying to boot NTR with BootNTR Selector on 11.2, since it doesnt have that 11.2 support fix/patch yet. So, it appears to be a problem that the manager doesn't recognize that I deleted BootNTR Selector (and keeps trying to boot it instead of detecting BootNTR) and that I want to use BootNTR instead. I can still use the program though right now, I just have to launch BootNTR first and then go into the manager.
So why don't you approach fishguy? Again, just up to you, I'm not FORCING.MrBean and Chadderz went to university and have a computer engeneering master. Fishguy no longer does MK7 stuff.

Ok. Boy! Well, I'm happy with what's already there. And thanks Pablo, 3dstool ran fine on my friend's PC!Fishguy no longer does MK7 stuff
You edited the "ee" file, so your 3DS must be in English.Issue to be noted down! Pablo, remember you telling me how to edit course names? Well, this issue is regarding that. I used EFE, and exported that 8 KB file from "common-ee.szs" as a MSBT file. I then used the MSBT editor to edit the course name and saved it. I then replaced the original file in "common-ee.szs" with this new edited one. Then I saved the SZS and closed EFE. I rebuilt the CTGP-7 RomFS and placed it in: sdmc:\hans\ctgp-7.romfs. I ran CTGP-7 and checked whether it worked but it seems nothing worked out. Any mistakes that I might have possibly made? Please help.
Not just that. I even repeated for all other common-xx.szs files! Still same result! You edited the "ee" file, so your 3DS must be in English.
