Hey guys, I'm sorry if this has been previously answered, but as a person who doesn't have the chance to read 190 pages of comments here goes.
If you have a MicroSD to USB adapter, will this work as a USB drive? I'm wanting to know so I can use my already existing 256GB microSD card that I was using for Loadiine
Thanks for any replies :)

I meant which filesystem?
I'm pretty sure it's custom/proprietary for the WiiU

They have some mods in place for maybe bug fixes and to make it boot a special vwii mode which has gamepad support over classic controller. (Why didn't they just do that in the first place when they made vwii?)
I really hope that we get a special vWii access with Gamepad support soon.
It's one of the features that would certainly bring new life to the system with many of the Wii-only homebrew apps being playable through the Gamepad.

Oh I'm not too sure but what I do know is once you format it on your Wii U can only fomat it through something like diskpart in cmd or something like that. At least that's how I got it back to normal. I cleaned the disk then added a primary partition

And how do I get this format?
You don't "get" the format, you let your console format it for you. Then only your WiiU will read it. Any other thing you want to do with this drive or USB will need to be reformatted again, and you will lose all information on it. Look up Formatting Hard Drives on google for more info

I think we could either inject apps into it (Xenoblade would be the best choice) or force vwii to boot in the mode where gamepad is mapped to classic controller

Ahh, so I format it on the WiiU and not my PC.

I am at work, I figured it would have been something a lot of people had already tried. I will try this on my own unless told otherwise

Anyone know this?

So I filled up my USB HDD. Ordered another one online. I can just move all the installed games from one USB to another in the WIIu software right? It wont let me duplicate it but move it right?

yea wii u allows up to 2 usb hdds to be used so you can move games between them
Sweet! And it will move everything right? The game install, saves and updates? So select all of them, hit move to the second USB, after its done unplug the original, profit? Should just show up the same as before with the exception of more room on the bigger HDD?

yes thats right
Awesome thanks for the info!!!

One last question... There is a copy AND a move setting..... I of course want to MOVE it to the bigger drive, but whats stopping me from copying it to another drive and popping it on another wii? Does it lock the drive to the console when you format a new drive?

Thanks!!!

If you can COPY all games to a new drive, then that could leave your original drive with games installed...to keep as a backup, correct? I have 2 1TB drives blank and ready to go...just keeping an eye on things before I finally go and start installing.

So, following my previous batch script, i updated it so i don't have theses folders name with only the game ID, but with the name also, like ShovelKnight_00050000101D7500
So, first, it ask you the game ID and the game name (Spaces don't work), download it trought Jnus, remind you the game and the ID (usefull for searching the title.tik after it finished), and tell you it gonna rename the folder,
then take you back to the start for another game & ID.

I share it if there is any JNUS users like me that would like a clear and easier way of downloading with it :).
I guess it could work with nusgrabber because folders are kinda the same without the tmp_ before no ? so you would just have to modify that line and the line of the JNUS code :).
Code:
@echo off

:start
    cls
    cd %~dp0
    set /P id="Enter game ID: "
    set /P game="Enter game name: "
    java -jar JNUSTool.jar %id% -dlEncrypted
    echo -----------------------------------------------
    echo Finished downloading %id% %game%
    echo -----------------------------------------------
    Pause
    cls
    echo -----------------------------------------------
echo Renaming folder with game name and id
    echo -----------------------------------------------
    Pause
    cls
    MOVE *_%id% %game%_%id%
    echo -----------------------------------------------
echo Finished, folder name is now %game%_%id% returning to start
    echo -----------------------------------------------
    Pause
goto :start

I guess that works too!

This way you can throw one drive in a drawer so when the one plugged in dies you have a backup! Now the question is..... when both drives are plugged in at the same time with the same info, which drive does it pull the game from in the main UI?
