I figured it wouldn't. It sounded too good to be true.

Is their "system transfer" the way to unlink the nnid that is mentioned in the downgrade process?
I'm not sure, I do know it's useful for returning the NNID to the source after all the downgrading is done (for instance if using an old and new 3DS where you can't do a normal transfer back).

Hmm, so it seems like it only transfers the nnid. No data or anything?

Just to clarify before I start making purchases, I am required to purchase one of the listed games on that list and as well as a Powersaves to hack my N3DS?

There is no way to hack my N3DS with just a SD card alone?

====

Side Question:

Is it normal that my N3DS makes a small pop sound when turning off my DS in the left side speaker?

Follow this part https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-Downgrade

What is your firmware version? That section is for people with no browser. With an N3DS you should have a browser unless your last update was a cart update to 9.9 or greater (in which case the browser was replaced with a stub).

Kitty Cat,

Do you by any chance know what in SafeA9LHInstaller, between versions 2.5.1 and current (2.6.1, but possibly was affected with 2.6), that broke OTPLess installs? People are successful with 2.5.1, as per the bible, but I haven't been able to find out what broke it. Thanks for your halp!!!

Here, I'll leave some nip here for ya'~!

I'm not sure sorry, but there is a bug in 2.5.1 that can cause a brick if the SD card had any problems during the install (corruption?). Have a look at the github page, there should be notes on the release and also commit messages for each individual commit (so you can see what changed).

Are you referring to the bug in 2.5 that caused 2 bricks due to corrupt SD cards?

I looked at the differences so I can see what has been added/changed, but I just don't know what broke it. Thanks anyways!! You can keep the nip.

https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-Downgrade
Section II - Downgrading
  1. Boot into the Homebrew Launcher (if you followed the previous part, you can do this by holding D-Pad down on boot)

- I've downloaded Homebrew Starter Kit

https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-Downgrade
What you need
-Ive placed sysdowngrader on the root of my sd card.

-I had no update folder on my sd card, I've downloaded 9.2 update folder and place it on my sd card.

I cant get the homebrew to launch when power on while holding down the down dpad, as well as i see no new app on my 3ds

Revisit the first section and make sure you can access homebrew.

https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Homebrew-Launcher-(Browser)
  1. Navigate to http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php
    • You can also load the page by scanning the following QR code (press (L + R) on the home menu, then tap the QR icon on the bottom screen)
      68747470733a2f2f796c73382e6d746865616c6c2e636f6d2f33647362726f777365726861785f6175746f5f7172636f64652e706e67
    • If you get an error, follow this troubleshooting guide
  2. Your console should load the homebrew menu
I took a photo of the QR Code and attempted to launch the url, and says In order to use Internet browser, a system update is required.

What am i doing wrong, or how should I proceed from here?

What's your full firmware version? If you are OK formatting your system, you can bypass that nag by formatting then applying TubeHax DNS.
If you don't want to format your system, then follow https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Homebrew-Launcher-(No-Browser) instead.

I have the same problem as you fellow nederlander, we are screwed for now, Because there is a certain thing which refuses firmware above 11.0 to install anything fishy, I know Nintendo is such a shitty company but the only way to install cia files and install cfw is to wait for anything that's all. I know we're totally fucked in our asses right now by Nintendo for this but there is nothing else we can do, hope this explains why .
They are not being "shitty".... Especially considering most CFW users are in it for the piracy....

Hello!

Can I install a .cia on my emuNAND with Gateway 3DS without installing the BigBlueMenu?
I mean, i go in the BBM .3DS and then install only the game .cia without installing the BBM .cia .

Thank you!!!

lol, and I find your topic before... an Italian site/guide says that YES, I can install only the game via .3DS BBM, but I want some confirmation by you guys ^^
Why would you use BBM? NASA is available as a 3DS too iirc. Not sure about FBI.

Honestly i just want to install a couple of .cia with the simplest, cleanest and non-invasive way, and using the BBM .3DS looks simple enough.
I usually use .3DS for games and I'm good like that... so, what is your advice for my case?

I'd say use NASA. It is significantly more recent than devMenu/BBM as far as I know, and works well enough. I also think it doesn't have that issue BBM/devMenu have when the SD has more than 100GB free.
I'd say being a legal app is a good reason, but people installing warez probably wouldn't care less x.x

Maybe not warez but homebrew apps? ;)
