so after even using a newer Nintendon't one that has tones of ini control files in its folder I still cant get my ps2 controller to work with it ..the tester shows it works but the Nintendon't doesnt read it -_- need a new update to support usb keyboards cause its methods are failing the tester is pointless sure it reads it shows the numbers shows its compatible but doesn't help when the program its used for cant read it ..

on top of that getting out of Nintendon't when you sadly learn the controller doesnt work IS A PAIN IN THE REAR I literally have to hard boot the wiiu just to get out ..wow I gotta say this is not a easy program ..

A PS2 controller shouldn't need anything to work with it. Just delete any controller files and plug it in to a USB port. Reading the numbers in HIDTest doesn't mean it works with Nintendont. It just shows you the values the controller is sending. Have you not read the controllers section of the OP?

I have tried no controller ini! thats what i did th very first time i loaded nintendon't DOESNT WORK! unless its supposed to be in a specific usb port I have yet to get it working this program is frustrating! yes ive been through everywheres I can NOTHING HELPS
I think they think a usb ps2 works but in all I dont believe it and im annoyed that its listed as one that works but doesnt -_- ive tried everything, no config config, put it on the root of sd card then put it in folder marked controllers .. then moved both those to usb where the games are ... seriously ticking me off ... heck I even got a ps2 ini from retroarch that actually states the adapter https://github.com/libretro/retroar...7866cc9b2/hid/PS2-PSX_Controller_ Adapter.cfg renamed it to controller.ini
nope no go, nothing works...
not a single ini ive tried or found makes this controller work but HID tester on the wiiu shows it working quite well they seriously need to update this thing to support more HID controllers and pc keyboard would be nice -_-

You must have some issues ...

there are like hundreds of ps2 usb adapters, each adapter has diferent pid,vid values and such you cant just get a random ini and hope it works lol, nintendont added all the inis that were made by people no one made an ini for your adapter thats it..., people cant make inis for adapters they dont own since they have no idea what the values are.

also that retroarch ini adapter would never work on nintendont at all becuase it doesnt follow the nintendont adapter structure, inis are not a generalized thing, you cant add support without having them and seeing the values they produce.

this is a structure of a nintendont ini of some ps2 adapter

[PS2 Controller]
VID=0810
PID=0001
Polltype=1
DPAD=1
DigitalLR=1
MultiIn=1
MultiInValue=01
Power=6,10
A=5,20
B=5,40
X=5,10
Y=5,80
Z=6,08
L=6,01
R=6,02
S=6,20
Left=5,06
Down=5,04
Right=5,02
Up=5,00
RightUp=5,01
DownRight=5,03
DownLeft=5,05
UpLeft=5,07
StickX=3,1A,100
StickY=4,1A,100
CStickX=2,1A,100
CStickY=1,1A,100
LAnalog=0
RAnalog=0
Rumble=1
RumbleType=0
RumbleDataLen=05
RumbleDataOn=01,00,00,7F,7F
RumbleDataOff=01,00,00,00,00
RumbleTransferLen=05
RumbleTransfers=1

if on hidtest your vid/pid value do not match this then its useless to you, since its a diferent adapter, just because you use a ps2 adapter doesnt mean you can randomly pick a ps2 ini out of another adapter it doesnt work like that since every adapter sends diferent values for every button.

You need to make your own ini

Great something i cant understand how to do ... why does it always come down to the hard stuff ..
im not normal yes i have issues many to be exact, from mood to adhd and i get frustrated very fast especially when stuff is hard and there are no step by steps or video step by steps to help me ..ive gotten to the point of frustration with this were i was crying ..this stuff is most likely easy for everyone, for me its 5 x worse sense i cant always understand things, I have to go back over and over to understand it but i still try i like modding hacking my brain just takes longer to learn it ..
I just pray that when i have issues there are kind souls to ease my frustration and help me ..

If you have a CC or a wiiu gc adapter and a gc controller they will work with plug and play.

"Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One controllers connected directly to the Wii. (Xbox360 can work with an adapter, see above"

Xbox controllers don't work. They don't use HID. They use XInput. Why don't you just connect your PS2 controller directly to the console?

Don't use the adapter if it doesn't work. Just plug the controller into the console. d2x has nothing to do with Gamecube games. It is only used for Wii titles. Nintendont uses IOS58.

None of the three Wii USB loaders support USB controllers that I know of.

I don't know what to tell you. Unless someone else has that adapter you'll either have to try to make an INI yourself or perhaps try picking up an inexpensive HID controller from Walmart or somewhere like that. You can play games with Nintendont with just the Wii remote and a nunchuck or a classic controller or Wii U Pro controller, too. The OP has a list of HID controllers and adapters that are known to work.

you forgot ps2 controllers arent usb lol, so you cant connect them to the console directly xD, only ps3 and ps4 controllers are usb.

I got the latest update, but my Nyko Wand still doesn't work. I want the next update to support the Nyko Wand, please.

Aside from that, I have the following ini controller files I had uploaded:

devs cant add support for controllers they dont own, also most fake/3rd party wiimotes do not work at all in most homebrew apps.
