What? What do you mean by that? RGB full/limited is only an issue if dealing with HDMI. Component or other analog outputs don't have that issue since they always output in YPbPr.
My console is obviously connected by HDMI, the problem is that my TV acts more like a monitor than a TV. Meaning that whenever it detects an RGB signal it interprets it as full range (0-255) RGB (or PC levels as people call it) instead of the more similar to analog standards 16-235 limited RGB.
That's why when in vWii mode the picture looks great, cause it is basically YPbPr since the Wii never had a digital output to begin with.
When dealing with RGB output (such as the Wii U portion of the console) every piece of equipment should have a way to select the range, since many people use it even with monitors. That as a royal f**k up from Nintendo. Or they could've just made the console to output YPbPr and be done with it...
Nothing to do with me "getting a new TV"... Thanks for playing though...
well i dont have any advice for you, my wiiu looks great on my tv, vwii also looks good much better than it did on my wii since i didint even had component lol, and i have a standard basicaly no brand hd tv.If your monitor does that then you need to get an new tv, nowadays hd tvs are dirt cheap since people only want 4k tvs now lol.

So you haven't noticed blacks being more muted and color being washed out in comparison to say, x360, ps3 or even the vWii itself? There's a fine line between "good enough" and "looking great", mind you...
Anyway, Nintendo f*cked up. They took the easy way out (as usual)

So your TV does the handshake well then. It probably detects it is a limited RGB input.
If you search around on google you'll find a looo--ooo-oot of people complaining about the same issue though. So shoudl they ALL buy new TVs?

what do you want then? want nintendo to release a new wiiu that fixes stuff some people have? what is done is done the wiiu is done and that is it with the switch being released in amrch, people that are unhappy either buy a new tv or just dont play the wiiu imo, there isnt much to be done now.

Actually, there is something that could be done fairly easily.... push a firmware update giving the option to select output. x360 did the same thing back in the day...

I was thinking about the future if Nintendont lately. It seems that WiiU Homebrew with more permissions might be possible with the IOS Exploit and real custom firmware on the horizon. Obviously it would be nice to have nintendont in the WiiU menu, but I doubt that it would be worth it to port it to WiiU, cause that would probably quite a lot of work. However iirc the Wii VC titles on WiiU actually run in vWii mode (correct me if I'm wrong). So it seems to be possible to make a forewarder channel on the WiiU Menu that starts an vWii channel, for example Nintendont. And since some Wii VC titles use the gamepad it might be possible to add gamepad support for Nintendont too... That would pretty much be the same as having Nintendont on WiiU and much easier to achieve. And the extra power that WiiU mode would have, wouldn't really have any impact on nintendont anyway, would it? Loading times are good and mostly depend on the HDD speed anyway? What so you think about this?

well the fowarder thing might be possible, but porting to wiiu mode would be really hard due to GX2 not being GX, nintendont doesnt emulate graphics and on wiiu mode you would need to emulate GX inside gx2 wich from what i heard gx2 is preety diferent.

Actually, there is something that could be done fairly easily.... push a firmware update giving the option to select output. x360 did the same thing back in the day...
good luck with that, im preety sure wiiu is dead in the water now for nintendo, unless a new update comes with zelda this is probably wiiu last fw, and even if the update arrived it would basicaly not add any funcionalities and be just for stability sake. nintendo could have made the wiiu gamepad work as a CC on the entirely of vwii but nope they wanted to still sell wiimotes and nunchucks and CC, so if you dont have a wii controller you cant do shit on your vwii, this was an awnfull decision by nintendo.

What kind of adapter? I don't think you can use a hub.

if the adpter doesnt have an ini made for it you need to make it yourself if that is an usb adapter that is. nintendont doesnt make inis automaticaly neither does hid test, you have to manualy do them, nintendont has alot of adapters and known controllers on memory if its not putting an ini for that adapter is becuase it didnt find any match.

As for the keyboard I'm not sure USB is supported. If you have a Gamecube keyboard and ports on your console that should work, though. The keyboard USB commands would have to be translated and I don't think FIX94 added that.
