This could have been done the moment Ryanrocks' WUPInstaller was released.

Are you think most skilled devs didnt know about this since kernel exploit and wup installer was released?
They are interested only about homebrew. Ticket method was released 1 year later.

@Cyan
For error FFFFF825, you can also try reformatting the SD card.

I had a game that fully checked out OK. No 0 sized files. I redownloaded from NUS and it had the same CRC32 as the one I kept getting errors on.
I reformatted the SD card with 32k blocks (it was 64k, but I don't know if that was the issue.)
I had done a lot of deleting and copying on the SD card so it could have been fragmented.
The 6GB game installed fine after the format.

thankyou, this worked for me.
I was using the same sd card to install over 10 other games they installed fine but watch dogs wouldn't install formatted sd card like you said(32k) and it installed. :)

..... Ticket method was released 1 year later.
Sorry, but no. All the needed information was on WiiBrew for ages.
It's just that DiscU generates bad tickets, that's why they need to be modified.
That's also the reason why when you dump the ticket yourself, you don't need to modify it.

use the correct WUP installer with the % issue fixed.
It's only a visual issue, don't worry. the game is correctly being installed.

4GB is 100%
Anything bigger than 4GB will count over 100% (8GB 200% etc.)

that visual bug is fixed in WUP Y mod

Are there any thoeries why nintendo integrated those tickets on disc? Did they intend to give every buyer of a game the right to download a digital version of the game? And if so, how would have that been realised??

tickets are required by the console to allow the game to be launched.
without the ticket provided with the disc, users couldn't play the game.

The mistake (in my opinion) is including the same title key in both disc and digital tickets. but that would have probably caused issues with DLC and updates?

I see. I was just wondering, if they could figure out, that the tickets were used to install eshop content. On the outside the stored tickets in nand would just tell them, that the related discs were played once on the system. It would require a comparison between stored tickets and installed content for nintendo to check, if somebody installed games this way, wouldn't it?

Thanks but that's the update id I cant get the full title for some reason also I cant get Call of Duty Ghosts either, if anyone can help me with these two I would appreciate that. There the only two games I really wanted that I cant find there are so many different id's floating around for them both I'm really not sure.

I have a question. I have been able to successfully install games (I have originals of the games that I'm installing) without any errors.
However I'm updating straight through the Wii U. Everytime I click on the game, the Wii U looks for updates and installs them. So far no issues with that yet. However I have blocked the nintendo urls through my router, so not sure how the updates are still downloading/updating.

Would you guys say its "safe" to install game updates via Nintendo? Or should I manually install them using nusgrabber? If going the nusgrabber way, I noticed the updates dont have "title.tik" file. Is that file needed to install updates?
installing game updates from Nintendo should be no problem, the only way to be 100% safe though is to disconnect from the internet when you are not using it. Personally I only connect when I actually want to use online features and I put on tubehax dns asap. It is strange that you can download game updates with nintendo servers blocked, when I am using tubehax I cant download game updates.

Guys I just wanted to mention over at "that site" there is a new fantastic app its NUSGrabber but all you do is copy & paste the id in the cmd box for example New Mario U would be 0005000010101E00 and it downloads the whole title also the title.tik file alongside, its in the wiiu homebrew section best app yet for this :)

I've took the link down for the satisfaction of the Children that roam here, its causing a lot of upset within the community! ;)

Call me crazy but I have been getting the error FFFFF825 on almost every single game that I tried with a Lexar 128GB SDXC SD Card (model #LSD128GCB1NL633). I used JNUSTool GUI Mod to download from NUS and added the modified title.tik and some titles will install (3 out of 10) and some will fail. The only thing different that I am doing now is simply dragging and dropping the modified title.tik file (set for your region) into JNUSTool GUI Mod and let it re-download from NUS. After I did this then every game installs flawlessly with the WUP mod Y installer for batch installation.

I think the games don't have the same titleID, so it shouldn't be the problem.
That error still have no proper signification (first post have some error meaning, the missing one are still caused by unknown issues)

It seems the "FB" codes are file/content related.
check your files again. verify your ticket (look in hex editor, be sure it's the correct ID!)
Be sure they can be extracted (Cdecrypt, or JNUStool with the title key)
Be sure you didn't get the update instead of the full game.
Okay, I think I fixed my error. I copied over a different ticket and renamed the folder to a much shorter name. Idk what it fixed but I installed the game. I will test the game if it works but wupinstaller said installed successfully

Get back on topic please, this about Wii U hacking, not 3DS hacking, as per stated in the thread label.

Anyways, with regards to tickets, if the tickets aren't hacked properly, it will just refuse to install and not do anything bad to the Wii U, right?
yeah a bad ticket will just fail to install (sig checks n all that good stuff)
