One question I have about the DSi downgrade. It's probably very obvious but can't find an exact answer anywhere, and want to be certain before I do anything.

What happens with the NNID that's currently on the 11.2 3DS? I get you have to format before starting, but can you do it again after, without losing the changes? And can you reapply the NNID then? I have some eshop balance still there, plus a few games I'd like to keep.

Ok, I'm not entirely new to custom firmwares and stuff, but I still have a couple of questions:
I got one 3DSXL with the newest firmware (so >11.0) and I got my hands on a new N3DSXL Hyrule Edition which I want to hack. But I still want my stuff from the my old 3DS. Should I install the cfw first and do a system transfer afterwards or is there a different method I need to use?

16 Copy aeskeydb.bin to the /files9/ folder on your SD card.

I dont have this map. Do i make a map or skip it?

edit. How do i get my 2ds on 2,1? its on 9,2 now.
or can i do the plaitect guide on 9,2?

Hey Guys,
I'm new to these forms, but I recently got a r4SDHC Gold Pro (which I think is a clone) and got it up and running. Unfortunately, I've had some problems with the White Screen of Death.
Most of the games I have will play fine, but there are a handful (about 5 or so) that give me a white screen of death when I try to run them (and two that give me a black screen when I try to start a new game). I tried to run one of them on my PC using desume and it ran fine there, but for some reason, it won't run on the cart.
Any ideas or links to forms with solutions would be awesome!

Regarding firmware, 2DS = o3DS

No. If you followed the a9lh guide, you are on updated sysNAND. What guide are you following? It's probably very outdated.

By map do you mean folder? If so yes, create it. And yes you should be following the Plailect guide from start to finish.

Get the N3DS on a9lh using Plailect's guide then do a system transfer from your old 3DS.

After the target console has a9lh you can format to get rid of the current NNID and sign back into the old one, and redownload your games. Note that you'll lose all your data (Streetpass, Activity Log, saves etc). You can backup your saves with JKSM before you start though.

11.1 can't be downgraded by software alone, you need either hardmod or DSiWare downgrade first.

a oke but with dsiware downgrade im not owning a second 3ds and im not going to hardmod my 3ds are there other solutions to instal cfw without downgrade my 3ds?

No, that's it. You can use userland homebrew (homebrew games, emulators etc) by putting Freaky Forms on your Sky3DS, and play games on your Sky3DS, but that's all.

I have the same problem as you fellow nederlander, we are screwed for now, Because there is a certain thing which refuses firmware above 11.0 to install anything fishy, I know Nintendo is such a shitty company but the only way to install cia files and install cfw is to wait for anything that's all. I know we're totally fucked in our asses right now by Nintendo for this but there is nothing else we can do, hope this explains why .

Sorry to bug ya, I'll do it before anyone else does, but you're not allowed to type in another language besides English. It's against the Temp rules as it may cause confusion to others, but if you provide an English translation along side, it "acceptable".
