Robz8, I'm having problems with a game loading called Away - Shuffle Dungeon USA Version. It boots but goes to the screen where it would ask to create a save game but does ask anything and sits on a blank screen.

Any idea how to fix this?

Try creating the save first in a DS emulator, then copy it to the flashcard.

This is no longer working for me, tried updating luma to the latest and i'm still stuck with the exact same error every time.... "Fat init failed" it was working fine with my dstwo plus until i deleted twbg.cxi after reading that it was no longer required with the latest luma.

Update Forwarder3-DS, the forwarder templates, remake your forwarders, and redownload the pack.

I didn't think i would have to do it all over again, i assume i also have to reinstall the .cia files as well? also thanks for the fast response.

Ok so i've fixed up everything and i no longer get that fat init failed message but now it doesn't even boot into the game it simply goes straight into my flashcards main menu.
edit: backing out from the ds selection menu and then entering it again causes my game to autoboot which is weird (dstwo plus).

I'm at a complete loss now i̶'̶v̶e̶ ̶t̶r̶i̶e̶d̶ ̶e̶v̶e̶r̶y̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶i̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶n̶k̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶w̶a̶r̶d̶e̶r̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶s̶i̶m̶p̶l̶y̶ ̶b̶r̶o̶k̶e̶n̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶w̶o̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶k̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶a̶y̶ ̶i̶t̶'̶s̶ ̶s̶u̶p̶p̶o̶s̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶o̶.̶
edit: sorry for the double post but i finally figured it out, it seems that the new version changes the loading directory, the old version let me load from sd:/roms/ but now i am forced to rename it to sd:/games

Here is what I did:
  1. Dumped my games
  2. Copied them to the DSTT mSD card
  3. Copied the DSTT files over
  4. Ran the program to generate CIAs
  5. Installed MKDS and Pokémon Platinum
  6. Copied the 3DS files over
  7. Ran the MKDS CIA
  8. ARM9 Undefined instruction
What did I do wrong?

I never got "ARM9 Undefined instruction", so I don't know.

Why do I tend to find the new and interesting problems?

Did I at least set up the DSTT mSD card right?

Yes. Try putting the .nds ROMs in the root, to a folder called "Games" if you haven't checked "Games are on SD card".
