I'm mainly still using Loadiine, because:
1. I wait for emuNAND/CFW. Installing stuff to sysNAND is never a good idea
2. Few games that I have in Loadiine don't have tickets released
3. My SD card is bigger than the USB stick I use and I don't want to format a whole 500 GB drive only for Wii U stuff (screw you Nintendo!)

I doubt Nintendo would ban people for using legit retail .tik files... how would they tell the difference between the USB hack and someone playing off disc
As same on 3DS i don't think Nintendo will ban people. You have a legit game as you can go online etc. How nintendo will know if it's not legit then? Break inside your wii u and check the files? I don't think so.

has anyone sold their physical games, and just installed the 'perfect' back up?
it seems a good, not immoral thing to do.
not like refunding to the store, that's not nice.
but selling the game second hand to someone else, that seems fine i think

Seriously I am too scared to do this I am gonna wait for things to get more stable. Could someone possibly P.M me about this idk what to do and I have a lot of questions. BTW if I don't respond in 4 minutes it means I found someone. Thanks!
You should move to the new method.

If you are scared of trying it then make sure you only install to your External HDD as its safer.

Not really anything to worry about.

I tried this once and ended up with corrupted data on the nand that won't delete. I'm assuming I have to reset all data on my wii u now?

Not a fan of that idea at all.

I think I'll wait for full IOSU implementation

I don't like using loadiine because it takes like 5 times longer then the Brazilian method and requires an internet connection or hosting every time you want to start a game. With the Brazilian method I can start games from my quick boot menu in no time at all

I haven't an hard disk to dedicate only to Wii U, so I still use Loadiine.
I play only one or two game at time and there aren't so much Wii U games I want to play - I already bought almost all the games I wanted before Loadiine was released

Bro, i was scared like you, but my father told me to do the dangerous things on my Wii U, and i did, but i was scared from the home electricity, because if the home electricity shuts down, the Wii U shuts down, if that happened when you install a game with WUPinstaller, then say good bye to your Wii U because it's BRICKED, but hopefully the home electricity didn't shut down and the install is successful :)

You must do it, you must be courage, you must be brave, do it, you will get changed when you do it, trust me friend :)

No more loadiine for me. I deleted all of my Loadiine ready backups, as well as my downloaded WUDs/Ready2Play files. I now have over 23 games installed, Downloading more, and the ONLY issue that I have is that my external HHD is a TOSHIBA MQ01ABD050 500GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache drive and I am using a USB2.0 interface and my games occasionally lag. For example Smash Bros' initial video gets stuck every 2 seconds, and it is horrible to watch. But that is an issue with my HW, and not the Hack/Wii u directly. But Good Bye Loadiine!!

There really is no worries, just make sure that you install your same region, and there are no issues. Go for it, just download the TIKs from THAT iso site, and use NUS to download the files directly from the Nintendo servers, add the TIK and put it in a "Install" folder and launch the installer and your are set :)
Sounds cool.

So when you go on the eShop and view a game you installed does it show you bought it already? Will they get deleted if you connect with the eShop and leave?

Legally you are suppose to hold onto your source copy or the backup becomes invalid.

I don't like the idea to download all the files/whole games from the nus server. I doubt that nintendo does not realize that they have "sold" in the last 2 weeks a multiple of the games they sold in the past.
And if 1 IP Downloads lets say 10 games one after an other its quite hard to believe that they all are legit. I do not know if it is ok (legal) to download the games one owns (has on disc) therefore I ony use them with loadiine, because in my point of view it is not so transparent.

sure but we have been doing this for nearly 2 years with 3ds, so there shouldn't be any issue :)
and nintendo doesn't get their sales reports from the amount of download requests on their server ;)

Exactly lol You only buy the game once but you can re download as many times as you want. If that were the case then I'd be screwed because I use .tik on 3ds E-shop all the time and Freeshop is the best thing ever

I've been installing games to my 1tb hard drive for 2 days straight. I just made sure to stick to my region, and i wasn't super sucessful every time, since i ended up waiting 40 min for a game to copy to my sd card only to find that there's no ticket for it. But i got most of the good games installed.

Nintendo could compare the .tik files against your eShop purchases, and either remove them, ban your console, or both. Maybe even your NNID.

jeez man... you need to get some rest.

- did you download already made packs from online? or, how else did you find no ticket? you forgot to make/include it?

yes, but so far, with 3ds, they haven't done anything of the sort so i don't really think it's anything to worry about with wii u.
but yes, it's very true that it is possible.

I use loadiine for out of region games, VC games, digital releases and patches but for many games it no longer serves it purpose considering that there is no need for half baked solutions to the slow load times anymore if we play games like SFZ via USB.
