I know it "should always ask" but it didn't. Also the ticket for the game did not transfer as well. Is there a reason why it would not have transferred? You know, just so I can avoid the same thing happening next week.

I have done this a few times but this is the first time that the game or ticket did not transfer.
The only thing that I can think of to prevent it from transferring is using a CIA version of the game instead of buying it from the eShop or the game wasn't bought or installed at all. But since you've done this multiple times... Did you actually have the legit game installed?

Yes, I have system transferred from this O3DS before and did not have any problems. It could be possible that you can't transfer the same system twice but I have never heard of anything like that other than the 7 day limit.

You can transfer from the same system many times you want but you should also buy the exploitable, legit game every time too.

Did not know that. Is that in the guide anywhere?
It's not directly stated in the guide, but the legitimacy of the DSiWare game is also transferred to the 2nd 3ds so restoring back the 1st 3ds to a previous state whereas the DSiWare game was still present, it is not a legit copy anymore.

You injected hs.app, you need to inject FBI.app iirc

I used this tutorial a while ago.. and I already have arm9loaderhax in my N3DS. But everytime, I have to boot from SD Card(emunand). I saw the tutorial was updated to a new one where now it boots directly from Sysnand. I want to update to a new version. Where do I start? Do I have to start the tutorial all over again? Or do I just follow steps on this page : https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Installing-arm9loaderhax ?? I did follow the Updating A9LH tutorial but I don't think that is it.

Are you sure you are booting emunand? How do you know you are using emunand?
Also what CFW are you using?

Finally bit the bullet and did this with my 2DS, previously running luma emunand on my new3DS. Glad I did, it was even more streamlined compared to my last cfw install months ago, the only snag I hit was playing DS games which was an easy fix.

Loving it so far and looking forward to putting it to good use :)

Hi, I do know that I downgraded my N3DS to 2.0 got the OTP and upgraded again to 9.2. Then once everything was done... I am now currently at 11.0 with Luma CFW. I had Cake CFW but I upgraded using the tutorial. If I remove SD card and boot.. it doesn't. So I am thinking it must be an emunand.

A9LH won't boot without sd card, even when using sysnand. The reason is the files that a9lh uses to launch CFW (arm9loaderhax.bin) is located on the sd card.

Okay, following this guide as of today on my refurb O3DS XL right now to A9 it. It started on 8.1 sysNAND.

Got up to the part where I was expected to update, but found it kept erroring out, so followed the advice to restore the NAND backup to get back to 8.1. At this point I'm at the step to launch Homebrew launcher, but it keeps failing with some kind of error and telling me to press start to exit out.

What should I do now?

Hello, I'm new around here, so sorry if noob question.

I have a N3DS with 10.7.0-32U firmware (Mario 3D Land bundle for reference).

I was tring to do the browserhax as it is described on this guide, after a while I got past the update advice, but when the page loads it just throws me to the browserhax website (doesn't load the homebrew channel), and if I try to click any link I get the update advice and I have to start all over again. Any suggestions about how to get around this?

I'll leave in spoilers the step where I'm getting the problem.

Section III - Bookmark browserhax
This section is only needed for New 3DS on version 10.7.0

  1. Launch the browser
  2. Select the bookmarks menu star at the bottom left of the bottom screen
  3. Edit the first bookmark to instead be the URL https://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax.php
  4. Press “Done”, then go back to the home menu
  5. Select the home menu options at the top left of the bottom screen
  6. Scroll down and turn off “Wireless Communication / NFC”
  7. Use the power button to turn off your 3DS
  8. Turn on your 3DS
  9. Use the home menu options to turn back on “Wireless Communication / NFC”
  10. Launch the browser as fast as possible, then launch your bookmark
  11. This may take several tries; if you get the prompt to update your 3DS, restart at the step to turn off “Wireless Communication / NFC”
  12. Your console should load the homebrew menu
  13. Skip Section IV - browserhax; go directly to Section V - menuhax

Browserhax site is down. Search here, browserhax mirrors.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
