Misc Locked out of my NNID

Like the title says, I'm locked out of my NNID. The reason is because I signed into my ID on a different NAND for a different 3DS, and I've sold that 3DS, and not sure where that NAND backup is.
What can I do to access that ID again? Does My Nintendo have some sort of method to unlink NNID from a system?

Yes Nintendo does just phone them and ask I had to do it with my 3DS at one point.
