Gaming what application would you like to see on Switch?

Honestly, if they make this even compatible with the Android store, I think I find my tablet replacement.

First : Ability to access files ! read/copy files on it freely (there's no SD card port, unless it's hidden under the case like on 3DS). I'm not talking about firmware/private files, just a space where user can store its own files like a flashdrive.
Then we could have nice things.

GPS/maps
homebrew/indie sandbox (OtherOS like, but for android/java apps?)

Maybe they could even release some kind of VR headset like those that require a smartphone that works with the switch tablet instead, that would also allow stereoscopic video streaming

Standard app that can be used to collaborate via whiteboard, buzz (for intercom) and audio/text chat in real-time between Swtich units (easily triggered while the switch is in 'sleep'), working over wired or wireless LAN locally in the home. With the ability save the collabation or chat in standard formats on MicroSD. Who cares about internet: it would be a half-hearted affair if it comes from Nintendo and their license agreement will mean you'll have to sell your soul to send messages over internet anyway (much like all the other spyware apps on Android or iPad/iPhone). LOCAL is fine. No personal data sent over someone else's server. So essentially a far more advanced real-time Pictochat.

Nintendo will end up disappointing us all on the apps front. Like always. We have so many devices that do what we want that will probably be a lot lighter and smaller and thinner and often have better hardware and countless apps. We can save website videos and play every video & audio format known to man, plus have a great choice of browsers, too many apps, etc. I really don't care if Nintendo has none of this. We have it already & the Switch looks too big and fat and limited to carry around instead of those devices.
Anything Nintendo offers would pale in comparison. The advantage they have with the Switch (to make people buy one for themselves after seeing their friend's) is to leverage multiplayer/multi-user collaboration as much as possible & make it standard, in both games and apps. Any apps that are fun and useful between 2+ users would be great. But I suspect Nintendo will not want to pay or spend too much development time to build in anything too elaborate or useful.

A music app, can't get enough of my music. I have music apps on *every* device I own.
There is actually a video player for the 3ds.. Though I'd like to see the nintendo anime channel be region free and have more anime to watch. Rather than being European only. Also being able to talk to friends on it. I never really felt like having friends did anything for me other than the pokemon x and y safari parks.
I want a Nintendo tinder, so I can street pass hot needy girls with Zelda tattos in special places, I can bring the switch to hang out with them and borrow them my joy Con
Youporn app, the device has a stand to use in bathroom and if it's hooked to the TV, when parents arrive early I can ninja remove it from the dock run to my room and continue having the fun
Plus joy con's have an interesting format

In reality I think it'd be better to go out and buy a cheap android tablet rather than get your hopes up like that for a Nintendo console!

the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now -

I think I watched a video where two games at 4K where eating just over 16GB of RAM and it's the one case where the 7900XT and XTX pulled ahead (minus RTX of course) -

So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.

Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
