Tried it, it went through the whole thing, and no files on my sd card?

I give up.
Decrypt9 decrypts the file directly, which means that if you put your SM demo .cia/.3ds file on your sd card and decrypted it than the file that you have on your sd card is now fully decrypted. Decrypt9 does not generate a new file. Next time read the full details about the tool you're using before complaining that it doesn't work.

I guess that comes down to a misunderstanding since I was brought up being told "don't edit the original final". Guess this edits the original file and I just didn't realise. Gotta extract the files now then.

Took a while, but I got it. If the demo looks this nice, the full game will be beautiful with the mod.

I seem to have an issue similar to DJ91990.
Retail cartridge of Pokemon Pearl (EUR, on a EUR 3ds) now results in the "An error has occurred" error every time I try booting it up, after installing Luma. It shows up on the menu just like it used to, but the game won't boot. I can't try it with the SD card off either, since the whole system will no longer boot up unless the SD card is inserted.

I had a 9.0.0.20E before Luma, and now it's no longer working with 11.1.0.34E.
I came to the conclusion that the problem was never solved, and I'm too lazy to check all 807 pages of this thread to see if there actually is a workaround, so if any of you happen to know what else I could still do, could you please share your insight?

What if someone can use neither? Can AGB and TWL both get corrupted at the same time ? What could make DS and GBA games not work anymore after a week if someone set up didn't change...

Oh my god. It's working just like it used to. With such an easy and simple solution, too. Sorry for being blind. Huge thanks for the help!

I have a dual boot here using Luma3DS and Gateway.
Today I've found that holding L while booting makes luma3ds also use my Emunand, that was originally created with gateway.

My question is:
When booting Luma3DS and showing me Sys 9.2.0, can I do a system update?
Or this would make me loose my A9lLH setup?

EDIT: One more question, what's the easiest way to add FBI to my emunand?

With Luma, you can safely update the EmuNAND even on SysNAND if you have A9LH.

I think I'm starting to understand how A9LH works.
I just installed FBI to my emunand here using Decrypt9.

The reason I'm able to update sysnand, is that even if I update, I'll be able to inject FBI using Decrypt9 on the newest firmware?
Is that correct to assume?

Also when using Emunand, the size of the CIA files I'm able to install will be the size of the partition of my emunand on my SD card?
Is that also correct to assume?

Why are you using EmuNAND with A9LH? You don't need that at all if you use A9LH.

Also, no, CIAs are installed to the SD card, meaning the contents are installed to your Nintendo 3DS directory. They are not actually part of either NAND. The only CIAs installed to NAND are those like the ones part of the OS or those like TWL titles (DSiWare)

So, when you install big games in CIA format, where are they stored?
And are you positive I can update my sysnad while booting luma. I'm on Sys 9.2.0, updating to the latest nintendo firmware still keeps A9LH and I'm still able to boot Luma?

They're stored in the SD card, more specifically the /Nintendo 3DS directory.

Also, it is not just "I am positive". If you have A9LH, and the main advantage of A9LH is exactly being able to update SysNAND safely while keeping CFW. Are you sure you are on A9LH? Having /arm9loaderhax.bin does not mean you have A9LH. Did you install it? Are you 100% positive?

LOL, Yes, I am.
Sorry if I sounded like a jerk. That wasn't my intention.

I'll update and format my SD card to remove the emunand partition them.

Thank you :)

lel. You are 100% sure, correct? Why do you still have EmuNAND anyway? O.o

Because of all gateway previews installs. This old 3ds has been trough everything.
I even bricked it and did a hardware mod to bring it back.

When I first got it with firmware 4.5, I've used emunand with gateway, and that partition remained here.
Time to upgrade it :)

Oh. I believe Plailect guide's covered reinjecting EmuNAND to SysNAND, so yeah, you could follow that.
