Hi guys !
I have a little pb.
I managed to install captain toad and hyrule warrior but i can't with DOnkey Kong tropical freeze.
The install dir is 10.8 gb with 71 files.
When i try to install on my usb drive, first wup installer detect 2.8 gb (this is not a pb because it can install up to 300% with other titles) but it end at 2.8 gb.
And nothing installed.
Any clue ? THX

you have all the files on your install folder? incomplete files shouldn't install, but we never know, maybe it tried anyway.
verify your files are good (with JNUStool it can check and resume). But again it shouldn't start installing if something is wrong.

I downloaded Paper Mario Color Splash with JNUSTool since NEWNUSGrabber didn't have it in the list but title.cert is missing. Is it alright or do I have to download it from other way?

please, users, read all posts. They contains answers that users are asking. You are not alone. This isn't a private conversation where nobody see other's reply.
this is public, take advantage of it. read other's issues and their solution. There are a BIG chance other users have the same issue than you, and they already got an answer for that.
I feel like everybody just ask question and wait for an individual and personalized answer, without caring about other posts not for them.
I feel like I'm dealing with 50 PM instead of a public thread.
I'm happy to help and teach users how all this works, but I'm repeating myself a lot. that's fine when the answer is buried in 50 pages, but when it's on the same page it's like users just don't read.

maybe you can download the .h3 manually with the URL in the browser?

first : are you sure this file really failed?
some .app don't have corresponding .h3 files.

if it's really missing the .h3 :

run nusgrabber again and stop it.
look at the URL, and replace the last part with : 00000008.h3
get the file from your browser by typing that URL.

ccs.cdn.wup.shop.nintendo.net/ccs/download/<titleID>/00000008.h3

i got an error when typing .h3, so i assume it was not that ,that failed to download.. hmm

when i entered it without the .h3 just the "00000008" it downloaded the .app one, how the hell will i know what it failed to download, in the log i hope? (sadly there is no log, i will switch to jnusgrabber)

if you look or kept the NUSgrabber log, yes it's in there.
Like I said, are you sure that .app file comes along an .h3 files?
not all app have a corresponding h3

How do you know it failed to download it?
you can see the file list in the tmd, but it's all in hexadecimal, not easy to decypher.
If your file is "type 0x2003" then it needs an .h3 file.

I second this, @Cyan . My JNUSTool's downloads with the recommended command (java -jar JNUSTool.jar TITLEID -dlEncrypted) isn't giving me .cert files. And the games refuse to install. How is everyone getting those files?

did you update JNUStool, since this morning (morning in europe)?
there's a new version which fix downloading the cert.
re-download JNUStool, there's v0.0.8alpha from 2016-10-23

you can also download it manually (URL in a browser)

i'm getting the error 0xfffcffe9 acess failed (no usb stoarge attached?)

can somebody help me?

where is your USB connected to ? front or back ? try to connect on the back.
Try with YCable if you don't have one.
be sure you disabled the sleep mode too, maybe your drive went to sleep.

you probably need a Y-cable for your USB drive

I just released a GUI mod of JNUSTool. It's everything the same (just that this first release can only download encrypted files), excepting the GUI, which is the only thing I added, everything else is @Maschell 's code. Thanks for this fantastic tool by the way!

I haven't tested it yet, so I would be really glad if some of you helped me doing so.
