Like to ask so here goes
Is playing any of my cias on sysnand bad? Does it matter if I play them emunand or sysnand at all?
If you are running a a menuhax setup then you are doing it all wrong by using your sysnand. If you are in a a9lh setup then it doesn't matter at all.

Hi! Hope you can help me. I got my o3DS XL with my NNID in version 11.0.0-33U (I´ll call this one 3DS #2). Succesfully used Basehaxx to enter the homebrew channel. Now, seeing the downgrade method, I have some questions. First, I have a spare o3DS (3ds #1), with arm9 installed and it has an old NNID that I dont mind loosing. But the NNID in my 3DS XL I want to keep. BY the end of the process, how do I restablish these NNID´s? I have seen many posts where users claim they lost one NNID, but honestly I don´t want to lose my NNID from XL (3DS#2). So I do the steps, and by the end, how do I restablish the NNID´s? This is the only problem I have, and the one thing that´s holding me from making the jump. Thank you all in advance.

Guys, can you please help me?

I'm gonna get a 3ds already hacked in a good deal I made with a friend, so you can see that i know almost nothing on the hacking of a 3ds

Does the new firmware from nintendo block an already hacked N3ds? or i will be able to play normally?

One more thing, if it's possible to play, can i deactive the download of new firmware? i am afraid that the download may go automatically

Thanks!

Make shure it has arm9loaderhax before you buy it.A hacked 3ds/3ds that can run cfw can never be banned since you are able to install cia's.Cia's are like official downloads like in the eshop instead of just a rom so it doesn't get detected online as a illegal rom.

Hello! I am looking to play a few older consoles on my 3DS and would like to know the best way to do this. Should I buy a flashcard or softmod my *NEW* 3DS itself? Just emulating older consoles/handhelds is what I want to do but being able to play fan translations from DS and 3DS games too would be great too.

A few questions below.

1. If a flashcard is the way to go then which one would give me the best results for emulation as far as Gameboy, GBC, Nes, Snes, Gamegear, Genesis and the Master System.
2. I mostly used my PSP for this but it recently bit the bullet, would getting another one just be the best results? I also have a PS Vita but the emulation on it currently isn't the best.
3. I installed a softmod on my original 3DS but wasn't happy with the emulation results. Would my *New* 3DS yield much better results?

Thanks in advance!

Hello again, I just installed A9LH on an O3DSXL and I restored the NANDmin.bin while configuring Luma (I'm on 9.2.0-20U right now), and before updating to 11.1.0-34, I wanted to run decrypt9, but I've been unable to. When I enter the homebrew channel and click on Decrypt9, the lower screen flashes red and then It just freezes in a black screen. I've been looking around but had no luck in solving this. Can I only run Decrypt9 on firmware 9.2.X? or can i update to 11.1.0-34 and still run decrypt9?

Thank you

Hey all,

haven't used my New 3DS XL for quite a while and would like to know if there is anything i need to do in order to play the newest games and to stay on track ;)

Infos about the New 3DS XL:

I have A9LHX v1 installed and working booting Luma 3DS V 6.3.1. into SysNand (at least the System settings say: Sys 11.0.0-33E)

1. Is there any advantage of updating my N3DS to A9LHX v2?
2. Can i simply update my console via system settings to get to 11.1?
3. Anything i need to consider? I don't want to lose A9LHX ;)

Same goes for my gfs Old3DS XL: A9LHX v1, running 11.0.0-33E and Luma 6.3.1. Simply update via the settings menu?

Thank you!

Update: Worked without any issues on both devices

Two questions,
"Delete the a9lh folder from the root of your SD card if it exists" -> So, I don't have any a9hl folder so I shouldn't delete anything,?
"Delete the 3ds folder from the root of your SD card if it exists" --> Don't have 3ds but have Nintendo 3ds folder on my root. Should I delete the Nintendo 3ds folder? I am kind of scared to delete that folder, that's like the main folder of 3ds.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also both the starter kit and safea9hl installer kit contains a 3ds folder. So, if I copy all the content from both, then won't the two 3ds folder merge? Please help.

Hello Everybody !
I couldn't found an answer to my problem on the forum and I think it's rather specific. So I came here to ask.

Here's the issue : Yesterday, I succesfully installed a CFW on my japanese O3DS.
And today I downloaded with FBI the Eur version Monster Hunter Generation to test the region unlocking and I also wanted to know if I could play online on my Jp 3ds with Eur games.

The game runs perfectly but when I try to access the online features, the game ask me to accept the online policy by going into Parameters>internet parameters>others>Online policy (Or whatever it is in English).
And when I go there to accept the terms, it seems that I already accepted them but the game keeps asking me to.

Does somebody know what I should do or is it impossible to play online with Eur games on a Japanese 3DS ?

Mmk, just a quick noob question: I installed the OTPless A9LH on my N3DS using SafeA9LHInstaller 2.5.1 and updated my sysNAND to 11.1. Do I need to downgrade if I want to update my A9LH, or should I just go right ahead and install the latest version?

With A9LH you need to load Decrypt9 at boot by chainloading from Luma

Hi! I'm planning to buy my first 3DS XL next month, and want to homebrew it, however, I'm worried that it might come with the latest firmware. Should I be concerned or do they all come with some older firmwares?
