Gave it a shot, tried changing a game from EUR EN to JPN JP but nothing happened
That blows. Seems like you're running of options sadly. And I don't see anyone posting other suggestions. Have you tried restoring back to the original region? Everything works fine? And the. Redo the region change after restore back and seeing?

Well I was thinking of restoring it after I've tried everything in it's current state as the process is a bit time consuming..
Has anyone else got any suggestions?

try deleting unused tickets, it might let you re-install your games, use this app (it's called tikSweep) launch FBI--QR Install to scan the code..run the program just proceed and it will exit, run freeshop again, redownload game..hope it works..let us know..

EDIT: before doing this, go to your system settings and data management and delete the games that are problematic that would not run or does not show up on the Menu then proceed with the installation of tikSweep, delete the unused tickets and go to freeshop to redownload..

I completely understand where you are coming from. Maybe what the other member will work for you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this procedure with one title to test it out and it works. The problem with this method is that I've got to re-download everything, which means it'll take about 2-3 days for me to regain my entire library back...

Unless you can back up each game back into a CIA file and reinstall it but that may take the same amount of time as downloading.

Sorry about that..but at least it is working now.. you can always run freeshop while you sleep and have the 3DS plugged to power outlet..or redownload first a few of your frequently played games or favourites..that's what i did..

@Dakota Nix , yeah i agree, CIA installation would take you around 15-30 minutes each installation, not to mention copy/pasting files back and forth from PC to SD card and manually selecting (A) to install each individual CIA file, etc..same time spent on freeshop with less hassle..

That is true. I know I used freeshop and download almost 5-10gb. I left it on with the charger and it was all downloaded by morning. I have like 600-700 kbps download speed. Nothing fast. But you can queue each game in the download list and it will auto download each one in that order. Just be careful messing with the queue. It crashed and I had reselect each game again. So like he/she said just start with games you play majority of the time and download them at night. But I think this would be your literal last resort after trying the restore back to your original sysnand.

But as a side note. This is just a thought that I had and could be very wrong but under the Nintendo 3DS. I wonder if you have the old regions folders. Like maybe the number folders are the correct folder hence why they don't show up. Or maybe the folders home menu folder is for the original

I also thought it could have something to do with that but I haven't seen anyone mentioning it anywhere.

I'll wait until the end of tomorrow and if there's still no solution I'll download all the games over the weekend.. Thanks anyway guys :)

like I have 3 folders one is for the games and apps and the other menu stuff I believe. Not sure the details. Just something I think I remember I long time again in a guide for running reinand. I had to remove one of this folders and have the system remake the folder and it's info. Maybe you have your old folders for original region and the new ones now created

Maybe see if you have the originals plus the new ones. If so just transfer all the originals to new ones. That's me being hopeful at such a simple solution.
Edit: so maybe back up the Nintendo 3DS folder and delete it from the sd card and then go to systems data management I believe and have it rewrite the folders back to the sd card then copy and paste the content from the back up you just made into the new one.
