Hi! First at all, if you ask me why I want to do this, is for testing ping in the game servers, like Splatoon or another games.
The thing is I want to know where the Wii U connects when you start an online game, I readed that Cafiine (I don't know how) can do that work or something like that:
Not that difficult, just use Cafiine's patch method to overwrite network functions to send data to a computer raw, I've been meaning to for a while but never actually got around to it

However, like I said, I don't know how to change that patch method, another thing I think is to use Wireshark (I didn't tried that, I will use it if Cafiine method doesn't work or that quoted message is for another thing and not to view the game servers IP.

The question is: Is there a way to know where the Wii U goes for online games?

Sorry if it sounds a little stupid or you don't understand my problem, I will try to explain it better if you don't understand, thanks for any answer :) .

I don't think anyone here knows (maybe yes idk)

It is a very difficult question you're posting here, i think that you may track the Wii U usage connections and find out what ip it is :)

Yep, I wanted to know about the Cafiine method because it seems to be easier that the Wireshark one (I readed that the Wii U trafic is encrypted too...), if the Cafiine one doesn't work, I will try the WiresShark because it doesn't come to my mind another method... Thanks for the answer :)

You could give Wireshark a shot, but most of the stuff I've seen out of the Wii U is HTTPS. Since there's no way to add a new CA, you might be a little bit stuffed. I'd imagine it's on a game-by-game basis though; so it's still worth taking a look. All you'll need to do is pipe the Wii U through your computer (I do this by hosting my own WiFi network, but you could also look at proxying) and let Wireshark do its thing.
I've seen other games get NoSSL mods so it might be possible to do the same on the Wii U.

You mean doing something like a Wi-Fi hotspot just for the Wii U and then run Wireshark to see what is happening there?

CCProxy is good for capturing internet traffic. After getting the url of interest, run command prompt and ping the url of interest to get the IP address. Plus you can use it to block Nintendo updates as well.

Thanks!, I tried that for the Mario Kart 8 servers, however most URLs aren't from the game server itself, or maybe I'm not understanding... CCProxy give me theses URLs when I run the proxy:

Is this correct? (I tried Wireshark, but it seems a lot more difficult :/ ... )

EDIT: For each game it connects to the same URLs

Those probably the correct url, I have not looked into it. What you could do is clear the log just before connecting to Nintendo Network in game. It will require some works on your end to figure out the offending url. You could try blocking one url at a time to find whatever you are looking for.
