Ok, I'm giving up. I had to restart my computer now nothing works.
Error: 0xc000007b and MSVCP100.dll (among other .dll files) is missing.

Edit, I think I fixed this problem... Now on to the next.

Make sure you're using the latest version 2.1, the previous versions don't have any of these options.
After running 2.1 with CMD you should be able to press the number that applies your WiFi connection (mine was 0) then you will see the other 3 options.
I can't open homepass. I click on it to open as admin, the program flashes, then that's it.
If I open the command promt, then type "NbaHomePass.exe BASE256.txt true 300 30" I get the message "NBAHomepass version 1 error."

Hi, nzone.exe with Windows 7 always set the Mac back to the Original Mac. I can change the Mac with other Programms. Is there any Option for nzone.exe to work only as hostapd and not to change the Mac? With this Option i could change the Mac with Macshift or Macycle.
Or could anybody send me the key for NZ@McD to use with Virtual Router?
Thanks.

I was using NBAHomePass for getting Pokémon download codes over the Nintendo Zone app but after the 3DS FW update 11.1 I can't use the app anymore. It recognizes the program as NZ but can't load the content.

listen, with nzone.exe its pretty much a hit or miss. Half of it just depends on if you are using the same WiFi adapter as the majority of people using Nzone, second half is the wait. You have to run the program for about 8 hours within that time you MIGHT hit about 4 people. That long of a run time pretty much cycles and "updates" kinda the macslist. This DOES not run like NbaHomepass at all, so anyone looking for that same type of program or use might as well just move on and pray MrNbaYoh the creater of nbahomepass makes an update WHICH he stated he isn't going too because of real life busyness. Anyway if you wanna run it while you sleep go for it, but 9/10 people are using the program right there just looking for that INSTANT hit, which again is not going to happen. And again as I stated half of this process is just making sure you using the SAME EXACT WiFi adapter the majority of people are using lol.

RJCline, I didn't make myself clear my 3ds's don't connect to my homepass, I used the VM but this stopped working for me about four or five months ago. I recently gave homepass another go but still no change, so I gave the windows route ago but that does not help me at all.

Anyone know which MAC and name would be best for Dragon Quest VII streetpasses? (I don't know if many people are doing it yet, as it's several hours into the game before you unlock it.)

Hi,

I've been using a MAC cycler on macOS in Europe for years now but after the last 3DS update to 11.1 it stopped working. As far as I can tell from this thread it seems like I now have to run the WiFi hotspot for several hours. Is that correct? Do I need to stay on the same MAC for hours or should I still cycle? Which SSID should I use? I've been using NZ@McD1 all these years. Thanks.

How do you fix that? I'm having the MSVCP140.dll error, installed the VC++ package and still got the error, then downloaded manually the dll and now I'm having the 0xc000007b error..

I've got the nzone.sh script set up and running on a computer running Ubuntu Linux.
The ssid is set to attwifi as recommended.
I can confirm from regular use of the ifconfig command that the MAC address is changing to IPs in the GBATEMP list as recommended.
My (11.1) 3DS and other wireless devices can see and connect to the attwifi access point, though they can't connect to the internet (though that's how it's supposed to be, right?)
Nonetheless, I'm not getting any streetpasses. Nintendo Zone can also not connect (but I'm not sure if it's supposed to, since the US service was discontinued).
I've also tried NZ@McD to no avail.
Help!

do i have to have a wifi usb dongle and does this work on windows 10?

I recently posted the message that I have quoted below. I have a slower acquisition rate for the miis than I did on the summer, however, I am still streetpassing with this method using a wifi usb dongle with Windows 10. I do not know much about how this actually works; I just followed the instructions. I am running it now as I type here and it is working just fine.. One thing that I have noticed is that it can take up to half an hour or so minimum to get ten unique miis, which was not always the case. However, in that same space of time, I can easily pick up 20 different showcase homes for Animal Crossing: New Leaf, clear them, and still acquire more. I used to be that I got more miis and some of them would also be there for AC:NL.

Hello. I am new to this forum but have been lurking for a little while. I will admit to not having the computer knowledge to understand most of the posts. Nonetheless, I did manage follow instructions and get a Homepass relay working. I really appreciate the work people put into this project, Although running the Homepass sometimes seems to cause my computer to have some sort of nervous breakdown, I am able to start again and get it up and running. I have had guests over to let them use it too, figuring its good to get more Miis out there. With the update to the plaza, I liked being able to let Miis through the gate and I was able to gather about 30 or so before the rate of acquisition slowed down. This was fine as it was about all I had time to play with in a day. Now, however, I only pass one or two people and it is very difficult to gather even 10 Miis for a game. I am not sure what changed as it was running fine even with the update. I have looked through the boards but since I have no idea what is going on, I find it difficult to know where to start to fix this issue or to work around the problem. Any guidance as to where to start on this would be appreciated. I have Windows 10 on my PC and I am using a D-Link DWA-171 Wireless AC Dual Band Adapter with Virtual Router Manager v1,0 and NbaHomePass 2.1. I tired using nzone.exe, but am not sure that I did it correctly and I am getting error messages that I know nothing about.
