You can use JKSM. Have the Sky3DS game selected in your cartridge icon then go into JKSM and choose to backup a cartridge game. Then you can pick the cia game in JKSM and import the save file you just made.
Thanks Quantumcat!!

You want one on firmware 10.7 or less then you can follow this: https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki
Or download the whole guide and files at once from my page quantumc.at

delete any current installed BootNTRs, re-install the linked one (https://github.com/astronautlevel2/BootNTR/releases/download/3.4/BootNTR.cia)3dsident tells my my firm version is 2.51-2
no firmware.bin in luma folder, cant do system update cause there is none available.
system is on firmware 11.1.0-34
Nothing truly noticeable, the formatting and size of the sd card is what really affects anything, and that's just load times for games.Does anybody know if there is a difference in load-time/performance when playing a game via physical cart or via SD card (Assume UHS-I speeds. Yes I know, not all created equal still, that's why I said assume). More importantly, with a game like Hyrule Warriors Legends, will there be a difference whether I use one or the other? Just curious. Thanks.
You should really remove that link to the torrent. It's against the rules.I am trying to figure out whether it would be safe to perform downgrade from 11.1 to 9.2 through Decrypt9WIP by using -link removed- found on the guide https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/9.2.0-ctrtransfer. I am trying to figure this out as to know whether it is a safe method to revert back into older firmware just in case.
Current setup
Model: New 3ds XL
Region: US
Mod/Hack: A9HL + LUMA
NAND/Firm: SysNAND 11.1

Also, why do you want to downgrade to 9.2?
Link removed.
And to answer your question.
1. My friend has done his A9HL setup and has somehow messed up and not really backed up his Health and Safety App, so now its permanently stuck as FBI. Its also an old version of FBI, so if downloading the update through FBI's built in updater, there are two FBI apps on screen. And removal of old FBI is impossible. It is not a big deal, I suppose, but my friend and I just want to make everything right.
2. My personal curiosity.
You could use the updated FBI app to delete the old FBI app then do a system update, which should redownload the correct Health and Safety app and fix everything. Go to the updated FBI app -> Titles -> Scroll down to the FBI app that's in red text. That's the injected FBI app (not the one you installed as a CIA) -> Click on it and delete it -> Do a System Update through System Settings. -> Check and see if that replaced the app.Link removed.

Thank you very much for the information. I will inform my friend and will try together later. You could use the updated FBI app to delete the old FBI app then do a system update, which should redownload the correct Health and Safety app and fix everything. I think it is possible because Luma3DS/arm9loaderhax bypasses the updates that Nintendo put in 11.0+ to prevent downgrades.Thank you very much for the information. I will inform my friend and will try together later.
As for the downgrade part, I don't think its necessary anymore, but just out of curiosity, is it even possible to do it the way I was originally thinking of doing?
did you read the warnings at the top?https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Region-Changing
I did this to change my JP system to English. Everything is working great in terms of it being in English and my multi-region games being detected as English. But there is one major problem - eShop gives me errors. I get error 007-2001 when I try to enter the eshop, and another error if i try to download a game update. Everything seems fine, I login to my new english account, and even up to the point where i see the loading bar, then i seem to close to home and the error pops up.
Im a big noob here and need some help. I found a lot of stuff online about this but I seem to be going in circles to find the answer and plailect's guide is often referred to as working properly. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
After this process, only Old 3DSs and New 3DSs which have never accessed the eShop before will be able to access the eShop after creating a new NNID on their new region. Region changed New 3DSs that have already accessed the eShop on their original region cannot create a new NNID and access the eShop on their new region!
All what you need is Decrypt9WIP.bin ( download page )
extract Decrypt9.bin to this path \luma\payloads in your SD card.
Rename Decrypt9WIP.bin to any button you want to boot into ( I'm using X button )
Example : x_Decrypt9WIP.bin
Now re insert your SD card and insert your sky3ds to your 3ds.
Choose the game you want by pressing the blue button.
View attachment 64074
Now turn off your 3ds,
Hold on x button then press the power button
Go to Gamecart Dumper Options then choose Dump Cart to CIA
View attachment 64076
View attachment 64077
Product ID: CTR-P-AD7E
so the converted file will be CTR-P-AD7E.cia
Once it done go to reboot your 3ds
View attachment 64084
go to FBI then choose files9 folder, you will find your CIA there.
View attachment 64085
Press A then Install CIA
EDIT: You need a space in your SD.

When you access the freeshop app, you need to go directly to this site with your pc : -link removed-
And scan the rq code with your free shop app (in the parameters --> update)

are you sure it doesn't say something like "home menu not supported"?i did that, twice. i even looked through every installed title in system menu in case i somehow managed to install it twice
i believe it is also displaying that somewhere along the lines, but I'd have to check later. if so, what would be the fix for that?are you sure it doesn't say something like "home menu not supported"?
