Luma DOES start with TWL patches, however it fails if the system has a TWL patched/modified.
Just noticed I was entering sysNAND by bypassing the menuhax triggering. Stupid question, what is the command for the patched sysNAND when Luma is about to start?

@Crystal the Glaceon I am willing to change it on my 2DS (have Rei/AnotherRei/Luma on my New since it appeared) but I am playing GBA encapsulated roms and DSi games on the system NAND patched with the "sysNAND mode" (I also used its XORpads and other generation options, but I know it can be done with D9).
What is the best custom firmware for me since Luma doesn't seem to start the sysNAND with the patches for the DS system?
As Luma does have TWL patches, all you need to do is grab the TWL and AGB FIRM CIAs from, for example, 3DNUS, install them over the modified versions and you'll be good to go.

Luma3Ds has all of the patches you need built in, if you have any modified patches, you will need to remove them

I also suggest if you are still using menuHAX, to consider switching over A9LH
https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki
With A9LH, you can get rid of the emuNAND and just run a CFW on your sysNAND.

Noob really ? It isn't a little pejorative ?
When RxTools will be patched all emunant will be even those lima / luma ...

A9HL can be patched also don't forget it, then can detect is you have modded your bootloader then ... soft brick and enjoy your useless 3DS so don't tell us what to do ppl will do what will be needed when it will be

Actually A9LH cannot be patched, it can be deleted of your console. The only way to patch the A9LH is with a hardware revision (with at this point, it's not going to happen, 'cause we are at the end of the 3DS lifetime <-- every console have a lifetime of 8 ~ 10 years before a new console is released by the same enterprise)

@Crystal the Glaceon Thank you for your concerns about A9LH promotion but I am not feeling obliged to use it, like the fact I don't own flat monitors or BrD. (I choosed to expose my problem in a thread specifically about custom firmware migration to avoid this kind of reaction).
About the modified bits of system, I think I never needed it (but I can reinstall just in case). My problem is, how do I start the sysNAND under Luma when it starts by default an emulated NAND?

Probably booting Luma holding R or L

You should just need to hold L well booting into your system to boot into your sysNAND.

Change CFW's is a painless process and effect nothing more than the means of reading the information off your NAND. So all you need to is change your current set up to another CFW and you will still be able to keep using the same setup, just being read with a different CFW.
Yea I have it now,If I knew it was that easy I would of done it sooner.

and this is only going to get a bit worse im starting to see people targeting new users who have a exploitable 3DS RECOMMENDING rxtools over luma.. this .. just.. my brain.. Owwwwww
Or worse, recommending mset over a9lh, at this point a9lh takes less time and is easy as hell than having to set up emunand+cfw on any entrypoint.

This topic got my attention after 2 - 3 topics about rxtools problem pop up in this forum.
Never use rxtools since I didn't want to hack my 3DS at that time. Glad I'm doing it in A9LH era.

Your reason seems sound, but is really flawed. Why keep clinging to something that is out of date and no longer active when you can easily switch to something that is still being updated and working features? It will take you less than 5 minutes to get an up to date CFW running and give you less of a threat of problems in the future.
Mainly because I don't really play my 3ds outside of the occasional mario kart game with a friend. Granted, if I were to play it almost everyday, there's a good chance I would update it. But as it stands, there's no real purpose to update because I barely use it.

In that case, putting a little extra effort into installing A9LH, then setting up SaltFW would be the best thing for you.
If you barely use your 3DS, then there's no point in using RXTools. Why? Because you aren't even using RXTools, you are using RXMode, which any CFW will actually do better with. You basically have no reason to keep using RXTools, if you really aren't using it. Hell, keeping your same setup and using Luma3DS would only take you at most, 5 minutes to setup.

Or use Sky3DS, at this point is less expensive buying an used 3DS with vulnerable FW than buying that expensive as hell card [emoji14]
If you don't have an exploitable 3DS, Sky3DS is the best bet. Now if your system is exploitable or already exploited, then don't waste your money.

If I can find the time, I will.
