First of all, is there already one?

So, well, I have my own ACNL "Sound" archive, and inside it are two (accurately) named folders and one .bcsar:

–stream (.bcstm files, of course)
–GardenSound.bcsar
–asr

I cut the .bcsar with 3DS Audio Ripper and got these folders:
–bcwav
–cseq
–csar
Their names all are hexadecimal-esque, but in a hex editor you can see some human language titles.

Stream, bcwav and cseq all open in foobar2000, asr and csar don't.
I have no idea to handle those, so a hint would definitely be appreciated.

But that's not the main question:
I have converted all .cseq files to .mid MIDI files.
But the built-in soundfonts all can't substitute the ACNL sounds.

Which are all in the bcwav folder… But not all tracks there are sounds. Yay..!
I can imagine I'd have to pick the fitting sounds manually, but first, how, and second, what's the best way?

Hi there! I'm new to this 3DS Audio Ripping scene too! How'd you open CSEQ Files in foobar2000? I tried using VGMStream Component with foobar2000, but it said that it doesn't support that file format (namely .cseq). Any help on how to open CSEQ Files?

Even I know that, but I wanted to know how to open the CSEQs. I hate when Nintendo goes back to that old Sequencing crap used with the DS, GBA SP, GBA, GBC, GB, N64, SNES, NES & Famicom. Hate that shit. I thought they left that after the Wii. But it seems they brought it back to the 3DS....

AC: City Folk was almost entirely sequenced, at leas this isn't the case with ACNL–
But if you really want to listen to your CSEQs, there's CSEQ2MIDI if I recall correctly, or some other tool that allows you to convert them to the more accepted .mid format, which requires a soundbank/soundfont with digital "instruments" (sound files) that are straight from the game if you want the .mids to play faithfully.

Hey, I managed to get the CSEQ2MIDI.exe tool. I've got all MIDIs (.mid) with me. Still not getting how to get a soundfont. Any help?

I, and I guess many others too, have no idea how to get one.
If only vgmtrans supported the 3DS…
Rewriting it would be a good idea. Well, I have no idea and no experiences with all that stuff as of now, so someone knowledgeable who might be bothered with this might be helpful =P

Yeah. without the Soundfont, Windows makes the MIDIs sound like crap. Well, VGMTrans can be re-written, but honestly, even I don't have any knowledge 'bout that.
