Sounds quiet awesome...

As a matter of fact, the OLED PS Vita is the best PSP ever made ! And of course the best portable PS1 ever made.

Yes, storage is something so enjoyable for our Vitas now. And sharing PS1 / PSP / Vita games on one card is a pain since any card was too small for even one purpose. Storage = freedom + comfort.

I personally got 2 Vitas, one 3.18 just for PSP / PS1 and the other 3.60 just for VITA gaming. This is what I personally would suggest anyone who is interested in using Vitas full potential.

And why would it be wise to have a 3.18 Vita only for the PSP part instead of... let's say... a plain PSP? Okay, the screen is nice and stuff, but PSP footage still looks better on an actual PSP due to the handling of the resolution.

1k, 2k and 3k have screen issues.
The Go is small and the Street.. idk, never saw it IRL.
The OLED Vita has a gorgeous display which REALLY makes some PSP games extremely beautiful.

A plain PSP can be quiet nice, it´s true. While there are differences. (Yes, the Go was too small for me, either...)

But an OLED Vita gives the best visual experience possible. You have bilinear filtering, perfect black and contrast and all those shiny colors. I am not sure if this is true but it seems to me games work with a higher framerate ? Recently played Wipeout and it seemed so extremely smooth and fluid to me.. ??? Not sure if the PS1 emulation was so nicely working and comfortable as with TN-X ... It seems to me... ???

Anyway I love playing PSP / PS1 games on my VITA. It also has some... strange psychic effect. Let me call it the "time-travel" kick. When I saw CFW booting up the first time on my VITA it felt like some kind of a flashback. You know, PSP ist past, VITA is present. PSP suddenly pops up in the VITA... How is this possible ? As if PSP is coming with a time machine from the past into our present future, saying just: Hallo ! Here I am ! Do you remember ? My brain just can´t get it, it´s like a miracle, still. Sentimental feelings coming up. Don´t know if someone her understand what I mean.

I agree with OLED being beautiful. Heck, I'm using a Samsung Note 4 which is OLED and it's pretty gorgeous however you look at the screen - watching movies, playing games, etc. With this news, we can have the best of both worlds - PSP and PSV games... and even PS1 games. This is great news for the vita gaming community.

I wonder...when PSX comes, will we be able to take advantage of the front AND back touchscreens? If we can manage to be able to map keys with them we'll be able to easily play later PSX games that require L3/R3, and L2/R2 comfortably. )I'm looking at you Vagrant Story and Ape Escape)

Oh wow, it's completely emulated off the cpu. Well still would be a boost if that gets unlocked.
It's not emulated, it's running natively.
If we could emulate, we'd probably have a PPSSPP port or something; notice how we haven't.

Yes, it's called PSPEmu.
No, that doesn't matter.

It's obviously not running natively because the PSP used a RISC-based processor and the Vita uses an ARM-based processor.

Anyway, get those 64GB cards while you can - Sony will never release a bigger card, and they won't get cheaper.
