Well... Perhaps this is a stupid question, but are you playing the game in English? I think that in the EU version there are different folders in the m folder for each language, and if you're playing in, say, Italian you'll have to name the E/U folder something different. I could be wrong though, as I don't have the EU version of the game myself.
Nope, Italian it is. Uh, the folder only has the E/U folder in it, so you say I should rename it in something like I or something alike? Uh, don't really know myself, guess I should try and see what happens :/
Dunno about the Morgan error you've got, as I had simply my Unit speak with her and finish the stage after. The same glitch with Gregor though...and I though I was the only one to get this error, but sadly the only solution to me was simply not use him at all and capping his current Hero stats with boosting items :/

First you have to recruit an MU from the Einherjar shop. Then you have to save edit and remove their shield. After that, you'll have to actually add support options for them, either manually (more info here) or with this program.
This is sort of a personal project, with the goal of adding comprehensive support for same-sex marriage to Fire Emblem: Awakening! This includes not only allowing character of the same sex to reach S support and, if tied to a second generation character, have children, but also new straight and platonic supports that should have been in Awakening in the first place. The project will also attempt to add new support conversations for all of these support options, in-chapter cutscenes for the new parents, and overall making the game treat same-sex marriages correctly, though this is still a work in progress.
Get the latest release here! (North American NTR CFW version here). If you have the NA version of Awakening, the easiest way to install this is to drag the romfs folder into the same location on your computer as Awakening's romfs and allowing it to overwrite the files. For more instructions go here!
Note: If you have the EUR version of the game, rename the folder m/E to m/U.
Also, normally, children of same-sex parents won't show up as siblings. You can fix that through some quick save editing I lay out here!
- All removed support options restored, all support options in previous version maintained (though it may interact wrongly with old save files containing certain pairings, which I will explain in a later post). Hi everyone, I'm new here. (And pretty new to ROM Hacking in general).
If anyone was interested, I used Character Editor 1.1 to add in quite a few same-sex S ranks (and a handful of new straight ones) into Awakening.
Note that this only changed the support levels and none of the text, so new supports will have no dialogue and characters in same-sex relationships will be referred to as the wrong gender in some places (such as female partners being each others' "husbands" according to the status screen). Also, any of the new Chrom S ranks will cause the "Maiden" cutscenes to play in Chapter 11 and 13, but Lucina (and the other kids) will still work normally. In terms of endings: M/M pairings are loaded twice with no dialogue, F/F ones aren't loaded at all, and the game kind of freaks out and loads the solo Kellam ending if you paired FeMU up with another woman. I'm not sure what happens with MaMU yet.
Here's the download link. (Warning: Attempting to access a Second Seal with Sumia!MaMorgan, Sully!MaMorgan, Cordelia!MaMorgan, Tharja!MaMorgan, Say'ri!MaMorgan, Flavia!MaMorgan, Tiki!MaMorgan, Sumia!Owain, Sully!Owain, Tharja!Inigo, or Tharja!Brady will make the game freeze. Thus, unless you're going to help me troubleshoot, I'd use this file instead which makes it so that those aforementioned kids don't inherit classes from their second moms. Unfortunately, as I found out by experimenting with Character Editor, the game crashes if you alter the overall number of supports a character has. So, as a result, I had to remove some supports and get... creative with new non-romantic supports. I tried to only remove ones that people wouldn't miss, but I did end up making some difficult choices. If you were attached to any of these pairings, you could always try to add them back in yourself using Character Editor.

Are you asking for help starting from a completely unaltered 3DS?Quite sorry to possibly bother or annoy anyone, and I don't want spam the thread or anything. But as I asked in my post on the page behind this one would someone be able to possibly kinda walk me through on how to install this perhaps?

This is the guide that pretty much everyone recommends following. It'll take several hours, so don't make the mistake I did and start it before you plan to go to bed.
Many of the new supports added don't have dialogue written for them yet. If you look at the changelog, you'll see that there are mentions of "support options added" which just means it's possible to achieve support ranks, and "support conversations added" which actually means there's dialogue written.
