Just make sure to do a9lh first before doing the region change.

If I change my region, will I be still able to go online? and also use my Japanese pokemon cartridge?

yes and yes. though you won't be able to update the games normally, but freeshop and ciangel is a thing now so no need to worry about the game updates.

Ohhh you mean I will download a CIA version of the update instead? for example v1.4 Pokemon AS update CIA?

I've finally decided to bite the bullet and install A9LH on my o3DS which already had menuhax+cakes and followed the directions as instructed. I'm at the OTP Helper in step 4 and am stuck at the 'FIRM0 hash mismatch' error, which according to the troubleshooter in the guide (located here https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Troubleshooting#ts_otphelper_verify_fail ) requires me to download the 2.1.0 firm.bin, which appears to be down for both of the links provided. Does anyone have a mirror of this file?

Hello everyone, I am using OTPHelper along with this guide, and I keep trying to perform the "One Click Setup" but it keeps giving me this. I have tried restoring the sysNAND and emuNAND and downgrading, but it still gives the same error everytime:

Did you ever change anything before doing the guide? (TWL_Firm patch, Gateway updates)

Or maybe the downgrade to 9.2 didn't go perfectly. You can use this HBL app made by @zoogie to check if there are any bad files ON THE SYSNAND v9.2.

@Plailect in the new guide you say to get the noscreeninit version. In the previous one you said to get the screeninit one?
Why?
In case, to update to the noscreeninit, do i need to follow your "updating arm9loaderhax" mini-guide https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Updating-arm9loaderhax ?

p.s. i noticed that AuroraWright once said that now there is just 1 version (noscreeninit and screeninit are merged togheter). How? It is still possible to chose which arm9loaderhax to choose (https://github.com/AuroraWright/arm9loaderhax/releases/tag/19/06)
Infact it seems that even if i previously chose the screeninit one, my screens are NOT flickering twice as it should be, but why?

'ello folks. Followed OP's tut without issue until Part III of Section II. At that point I realized that since a N3DSXL (what i'm using) lacks a physical wireless switch, that I cannot enable wireless without utilizing a trick that may or may not exist i.e. temporary battery removal (which didn't work). In a pinch I could upgrade my firmware via a cart, but to what? Also, i'm unfamiliar with the new tools and techniques, so i'll need my hand held by whoever decides to be my aid. Thanks

Hello, I followed the guide, injected FBI but the H&S app is still there...
The guide says "if you copied a firmware.bin to /luma/ earlier, delete it after updating or you won't be able to boot" but after the update I can boot normally, in the settings I have now Sys 11.0.0-33E
Any help

Help with what? If you want to inject FBI just follow these steps:

And it is normal to see Sys 11.0.0-33

Do all steps again (dump H&S app, copy to Universal Inject "Input" folder, past FBI cia to Universal Inject "Input" folder, double click "go.bat", and inject FBI_with_Banner.app on SysNAND).

It must work.
