I'm much too young to know the pain from back then. Will try 6.0.8 at some point and see if it runs smoother during slightly intensive tasks.

The rom must be named vMac.ROM, for linux it might be case sensitive.
I'm not 100% sure on where the linux version expects the files to be though, try peeking around the documentation on the site to see if there are any clues.

Really cool. Got it to work, but I don't have any .dsk files.

The best idea is to set up a working disk image using the desktop version of Mini vMac and copy it over to the 3DS.
I'm sure someone will eventually share a working disk image full of games, but it's not something I can do personally.

Got it running :) on the 3ds
