I hacked my wii 6 years ago and recently decieded to rehack it. It worked perfect 6 years ago and now after the re hack its either not finding games on the usb or not able to read the usb if I formatted it different. please help!

Also the loader GX see the hdd as a fat16 even though I have it WBFS formatted.

WBFs manager and Wii backup manager both see 3 games on the HDD.

I don't know what's going on here, but I do know that WBFS formatted drives haven't been necessary for a long time, and you'd probably be better off switching to FAT32.

Back to your actual problem... Hmmm... is the partition with your Wii games the first partition on the drive? I think i t has to be. Also make sure it's plugged into the correct USB port. Bottom on a Wii, top back on a Wii U. Good luck.

Are you using usbloader gx? They require A special folder Chain, you need a folder called "wbfs" and in them with the iso or .wbfs named of the id your game is out me the wii won't recognize them

OK let me give that a shot... wait how do you access the drive to put a folder in WBFS?
You need to stop using the WBFS formatted drive. Reformat it as FAT32 and then put all your games into a "wbfs" folder on the root of the drive. You'll have to use Wii Backup Manager to move all your games off first to a safe location before you format it.

Try to use Wii Backup manager to make sure they're all put in properly named folders; you can't just slap them in the WBFS directory, they need specifically named folders to be recognized and Wii Backup Manager can do that for you.

The backup manager didn't do that but Ill try to do it manually.

What brand/model drive are you using?

What cIOS version do you have installed?

When you say you "rehacked" your Wii, what exactly do you mean?
