so, i am sorry if this has been mentioned but i am not reading through 700 pages, i have been finding a bug with ds games. for some reason sometime with ds games in the game slot luma freezes then gets stuck on a black screen on boot. this has happened with 2 legit ds games and a few different ds flash carts. my theory is its something to do with ds mode and not actually recognizing the sd card anymore.

Any possibility to add a 3dsx bootloader for the 3dsx luma launcher? I know a9lh version has a cool a9lh payload loader, but it could be cool to have some sort of loader for hbl sysnand or d9 use cases in menuhax setups.

(Yeah i know about the a9lh mustard rice)

I mean, you could always just use something like CTRBootManager or BootCTR :P

I'm aware. It just turns out I don't want to use them. They have this bad habit of lowering the menuhax and Luma.dat boot rate.

Luma in the other hand is quite consistent, and I don't want to trade several reboots for a corner case. I also understand it has no value for Luma, but I wanted to ask.

A9LH users also have CTRBootManager9 at their disposal.

Actually this is normal. If you changed the name of the main file, you need to also change the payloads. Which you can download pre-patched payloads using this site
http://luma3ds.ericchu.net/
If you have patched your NAND with the old patches to get DS Flashcarts to work or GBA games to work, you need patch your sysNAND again with the clean version of those files, which you can get from the wiki

There's really not much more that can be added, which is also why stable updates have slowed.
She's also currently working a mini-CFW A9LH project as well.
She's just one person taking on these projects and these kinds of comments are helping her, they're just pressuring her more. Please be considerate and just be patient.

RXtools is grossly out of date, please don't use it when there are plenty of other options for more up to date CFW's.

Care to explain why a simple question is pressuring the developer? I don't really understand. I'm not demanding anything actually and you shouldn't interpret the question like that.

I guess that there is currently no way to have Luma3DS to run on a 11.0.0-33E O3DS ? I read that most of the *hax are still working, but I also read that nothing past 10.7 can run a CFW so... I'm confused here ^^'
Hax has nothing to do with ARM9 kernel exploits required by CFW.

Well I don't have an Emunand and there's very little direction given in this thread. But no worries I found some promising guides, because I'm not freaken lazy. In fact I have like 20 browser tabs open right now trying to figure this shit out *facepalm*.

But anyways, Noob proof... my ass, Yo!!! ;-)
It's easy to set up. Heck, you dont need a guide to do it. Also, it's noobproof as in "hard for noobs to do stupid shit while Luma is installed".

I may not have worded that the way I wanted to, sorry about that. Just ignore that post, I was actually drunk upon making that.
