Here is an import folder with all the cats from this Reddit thread

This contains 10 Optimal Fighter cats for Prowling, and 2 Optimal Support cats. Probably the most legit ones to get.

PS: One of the cat is originally from Gaijin Hunter! yay!

Make sure you make a weapon set, and give it to the Palicos in game before you select them for use. Importing palicos does not import any weapons. Equipping a palico that does not have a weapon equipped will crash your game.

Alright. I figured how to zero out virtually everything the palico editor is capable of zeroing out. Here are some palicos and paired blank files for research purposes ('blanks' remove everything the editor currently affect to narrow down possibilities on unknown bytes).

I have them labeled by hire method, too, in case that matters. The main thing I'm hoping someone can find it the DLC palico flag, as that should let us use the DLC skills outside the teaching slot (unless @BLarghsalot! can tell us exactly what he did that differs).
Of course, there should be enough to help find the other values not already in the editor (like tail type/voice type/etc). I believe I already found the color code for the vest/apron the palico wears (the 4 bytes at 011e-0121 right after the palico color bytes).

Other notes: Included is a text file with the physical traits of the palicos, to hopefully make things easier researching those values. Eyes appear to have at least 7 possible colors (sky blue, yellow, green, gray, purple, brown, and orange).

For those of you who want a literally perfect (yet still 'legal') boomerang palico (uses Worlds Strongest as learned skill), copy the stats from Dovakat in this zip (I had him selected as my first palico [not prowler] when exporting him, so importing may cause problems unless you don't have a first-slot palico set)

Oh, and for the record: finishing the HR7 urgent with 0 HR puts you at HR8. Not as funny as if it went to 0 (or at least a rank below 7), but it still confused everyone in the room when I did it

So I figured out a way to 'fix' the unusable palicoes (cause they're active palicoes even though they shouldn't be) by hex editing the .catz file.

Offset - description
E0 - Palico 1/2 - 20 inactive, 21 first palico, 22 second palico
E1 - I'm not entirely sure what this does but I keep seeing 04 on other .catz file but my palicoes shows 00.
E2 - ??
E3 - Prowler Palico - 00 is inactive and 01 is active

So setting them to 20 and 00 should make them usable in your save.

Also, make sure your palico has an equipment on, doesn't matter what it is but they need it or else the game will crash.

open a palico slot and click import on the bottom left of the new window it opens

Also: I'm trying to make a list of the DLC Skill values. These do NOT correspond to the memory cost to equip them. So far I have the following (just the released DLC skills I can confirm based on RNG value/pattern)

mmm i start editing some stuff to get all items , then i saw my HR LV is 7 , and yesterday before the edit i was 31 , idk why change it , then i do some quest and i get the message " u unlock all this stuff" the same message i get yesterday , i try to edit my HR to 31 again , but when i go online i get stuck on HR7 , my HR Points are 70303 thats what the Editor says did i get perma stuked on HR 7? idk how that works if i can change it or not , what can i do

did you complete the 7* urgent? if not your HR is locked until that point. Make sure you talked to the Guild Manager in the Hub (you may not have saved after talking to her to unlock your HR before if you already completed the 7* urgent)

i already did the 7 Urgent , My HR was unlocked and jump me to Rank 31 , then today i star editing some stuff , and i see on the Save editor screen that i was rank 7 i was like wtf , i start a quest whit some friends then the same message that i get when i unlock my HR to 31 was the same , and i still was rank 7 , theni got to save editor and put to 31 again but didnt work .

i tested all the cats out and only these worked. the rest caused the game to crash.

anyone got a save file of village and hr 7 done?

also I seen another editor to unlock all arts and meals and food, would this break anything in game for me? any issues at all?

I found some time to make a .catz validator tool.

Drag and drop the .catz onto the .exe and it will tell you if the skill set and stuff are valid

looks like i never gona rank up anymore , i get stuck at rank 7 , i modify the value of my HR Points from 70303 > 500K htne i put random number to HR ( 30 ) , when i turn of my game and go to online i was rank 7 again and play some mision i even export the ext data again and says now i have 500890 HRP and still Rank 7 i did again 2 times the 7* Urgent but the message dont apear anymore , dead file i guess ? i have to make another one ?
